It's been a while since I've visited Mamasan, I genuinely think the last time I visit the Liverpool location was maybe about a year ago in the summer. Thankfully my wonderful friend Lynsey kindly invited me along as her plus one when she got a pr invite to head along and try the menu recently so of course I had to share it with all of you cause it was as good as I remember.
I am a pretty fussy eater (I am getting back with what I will and will not eat) and Mamasan Liverpool's A La Carte menu had a really good selection of items that were picky eater friendly. Of course when we first arrived, we had to get a cocktail whilst we had a look through the menu. I decided to go for the pink 75 which was so light and refreshing with just the right hint of sweetness.
To start we went for the Hebridean seared scallops and Indonesian crispy chicken satay with some edamame beans to share. I'm not usually a fish person and my word, the seared scallops were actually delicious and my crispy chicken satay was perfectly cooked and the sauce that came with it was incredible. I will happily order it every time I go. For the mains we went for the pan fried seabass and the green curry monkfish and prawns. We were both so impressed with delicious the mains were, for someone who with usually avoid fish dishes on the menu, the pain fried sea bass was just next level good and definitely picky eater friendly!
Overall we really loved our visit to Mamasan, they even had some really cool cocktails on their menu including matcha ones and ones with bubbles on top. It's the perfect spot for either cocktails, lunch or dinner out. I can't wait for my next visit to Mamasan Liverpool!
