New In | Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream

We all know that I am the dry skin queen so I'm all for trying out skincare that is designed to help tackle this and it's like Dermalogica read my mind with their newest launch, the Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream which is a great addition to the Pro-Collagen range so I thought I would share my initial thoughts with you all.

The Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream is designed to be an intensely hydrating moisturiser that is designed for dehydrated skin, to tackle early signs of ageing, and support the collagen, hydration, and skin plumpness. The formula helps with collagen and elastin levels which decrease naturally as you age. It is filled with a peptide complex with collagen amino acids, and antioxidants to help delay signs of skin ageing, biofermented radish root extract to give your skin a visible bounce, and extremophilic red algae which helps to visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

I really like that this moisturiser has such a lightweight texture and feels like water when you massage it into your skin which makes it perfect for the warmer weather as it doesn't feel heavy or tacky on your skin but it still feels like it's giving your skin a big hit of hydration. I have been trying this out in the morning after using a cleanser and serum, but you can use it 1-2 times a day depending on your preference and skin needs. My skin literally drinks this moisturiser up so it's perfect on makeup and makeup-free days as I don't get any piling of my skincare. It has a very light scent that matches the serum from the Pro-Collagen range and it doesn't hang around so it's really good if you're sensitive to scents in skincare products.

It is priced £69 for a 50ml tub featuring an airless pump with 1-2 pumps being the recommended amount for your entire face. Now I'm a dry skin girly so I use 2-3 pumps for my face and neck. I'm quickly coming round to airless pumps in my skincare products cause it allows me to get all the product out without getting any under my nails. I'm really liking the results I'm getting with the Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream and I'm excited to see how it helps my dry skin so I will make sure to come back with a more in-depth review once I've used it for longer.
