I will admit that I love having a paper and digital planner but I will be till I'm old and grey a paper planner person. That being said, I am particular about the layout inside of my planner so when the lovely Hannah from Personal Planner got in touch to tell me all about their completely customisable planners, I had to make my own custom planner from June 2026 till July 2027.

If you haven't heard of Personal Planner before, they are created by Anders for his wife Paula back in 2006. They are designed to be fully personalised planners that is filled with unique details to truly make the planner your own and unique to you. It was started in Uppsala and now have customers all over the world. All of their planners are produced in Sweden and produced on demand when you order them to avoid overproduction and ensuring high quality with every item. They now offer a range of planners, notebooks, stickers and planning accessories so you can get everything you need in one order.

Even when you looking into the planner section, they don't just have your bog standard weekly/monthly planners. There is everything from bullet journals, gardening journals, wedding guest books, workout journals, teacher planners so if you want something more personalised to your career or life goals, there is something to match up. I won't lie, I need them to create a business planner for my crochet business!

I love that from the very first page it can be customised. Now I've been strawberry obsessed since I was a little girl so as soon as I spotted the strawberry print cover, I had to go for it. I went for one of the spiral planners that comes with a plastic cover then the decorative covers inside so it helps to keep it protected. Now you can choose the same design at the front and back of the planner like I have with the strawberries or you can choose two different ones if you're stuck for choice, plus you can even add your own photos to the covers. I couldn't be a dog owner without putting a picture of Rosie inside the cover where you put your 'in case of lost' information.

Once you have chosen your type of planner/notebook and your cover, it's then deciding what month you would like your planner to start in, how many months you would like it to run for as they currently offer from 3 months all the way to 13 months. You can then choose the language you would like the planner written in and the holidays for the country you choose which is perfect as I used to order America planners that had monthly spreads before they became more widely available but it had American holidays inside which differ to UK holidays in terms of what they are for and what time in the year they are so being able to choose the right holidays for my country. Because I also do social media and run a crochet business, having awareness days such as donut day, fathers day, ice cream day included in the planner means that I can make sure if I wanted to theme my content, I get a great reminder for it.

I went for the spiral bound A4 custom planner to give me plenty of space for writing and planning out my day and chose to have the days all on the left side with the days split into the main white box then under the date/day, I chose to have a pink and white lined box to give me space for writing work schedules or appointments. The right side pages, I decided to go for the assorted note section to allow me to jot things down as needed when I'm planning out for the week or for as I go along during the week as I usually leave my planner out on my desk to add things as I go along but also to remind me because I've got an awful memory! Along the very bottom of the pages, you can choose four modules then there is a calendar of the current and next month then a blank note box. I went for the weekly boost which gives you different quotes every week. I also went for a meal planner, a blank box and then a habit tracker.

I feel like I've become a bit of a paper snob with my planners and notebooks, I'm really impressed with the quality of the paper that Personal Planner use and I don't get a bleed through with my pens or highlighters. I've become a sticker fan when it comes to planning so I love that Personal Planner offer their own range of decorative and purpose stickers so depending on whether you're doing a planner, notebook or bullet journal, there's stickers to match your need. Now it's one price for the entire planner with any customisations which is perfect cause there's nothing worse than finding a planner you like and then being charged X, Y, & Z for all the extra customisations. I ordered the planner and it arrives in a week which I'm really impressed considering that they are made to order.
