One of the parts of blogging that I love so much is that I get to try new products when they launch which recently included the new Garnier Vitamin C sorbet cream. I've seen this moisturiser going viral on social media because of it's unique texture so I was really excited to give it a test run and let you all know how I got on with it.
The Garnier Vitamin C Sorbet Cream has come at the perfect time for the warm summer weather as the sorbet texture is designed to be ultra-light and melt instantly into your skin to hydrate and brighten your skin whilst providing all day oil control. It's designed to be 6x lighter in texture and isn't sticky or greasy whilst giving you 48hr hydration. They currently have 3 versions of the sorbet creams, brightening with vitamin C, hydrating with hyaluron, and mattifying with salicylic.
I will say I was worried about the texture giving me the ick as the texture looks matte when you look at it but as soon as you massage it into your skin, it's like it turns to water and melts straight into your skin. I really like how hydrating the formula is and it leaves my skin feeling silky soft without feeling greasy, tacky or piling. I find the vitamin C sorbet cream has a strong orange, citrus scent which stays after you've massaged it in but if you're someone who is sensitive to scents and fragrance in your skincare, this is something to be mindful of.
I really like how hydrating the cream is without being heavy so it's the perfect option when it comes to summer and the hot weather cause I had that tacky, sticky feeling with skincare in the summer. I'm intrigued to see how it helps brighten any dark spots on my skin with time. I like the level of hydration it gives me for warmer months when layered with my serums, however I think in Winter I'd need a more hydrating and nourishing moisturiser for my dry skin. They are currently priced at £7.50 when not on sale for 85ml tub which I feel is reasonable for a moisturiser and a little goes a long way so you don't have to worry about it running out super quickly.
