It's time to get my skin ready for summer and all the dresses, skirts and shorts for the warm weather. I struggle with dry skin on my face and my body so I'm starting the summer prep thanks to the CeraVe moisturising cream as it's the perfect body moisturiser and it was like they knew as they handily sent across a giant tub just in time for the warm weather.

This iconic moisturiser is designed by dermatologists to be a rich, non-greasy moisturiser that contains three essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid, making it perfect for hydrating and nourishing dry and very dry skin for up to 24 hours. The CeraVe moisturising cream has ceramide 1, 3, and 6-11 which when paired with hyaluronic acid it helps to seal in hydration, support your skin's barrier whilst making your skin silky soft and smooth. The formula is hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and non-comedogenic, I love that CeraVe aren't a one and done style company with products, if you have a look in any store or on their website, they offer the more intensive cream formula but also lotions, ointments and refills which is handy as a dry skin girly cause if I find a formula that I like but need a lighter lotion when it's boiling hot then a thicker cream during the cold weather, they have the same formula in different style products.

I really like that the CeraVe moisturising cream is unscented making it perfect for anyone sensitive to fragrances in products but it also means that it'd match any shower gel and body scrub that I use in the shower so I don't have to worry about the scents of my body moisturiser contrasting with my shower products. Even though it's a cream formula, it's still lightweight and easily absorbs into your skin without that horrible greasy, sticky feeling which as the weather starts heating up, I despise when body butters/creams/lotions leave you feeling tacky when you're already melting.

I've been keeping this tub on the top of my unit where I store all my skincare so I can get in the routine of using it everyday (I used to be a post-shower girly only, my poor dry skin). I feel like any time I CeraVe online or in store, there is always some form of deal on it so at the time of writing this blog post, it's currently priced between £11-14 for a 454g tub.
