Is anyone else absolutely gobsmacked that we're at the beginning of May, I feel like January was the longest month ever then we've blinked and all rest of the months are completely flying by. Now I won't lie, there's not a huge amount changed in my skincare and beauty April favourites cause I've been stuck in a ME/CFS flare up this month so if I'm not working, I've been hibernating to try and recover.

Dermalogica Skincare
A fair chunk of my skincare is Dermalogica as it works so well for my skin so it's no surprise that I've got 3 of their products in my favourites this month. My go-to cleanser has been the Magnetic Afterglow Cleanser as it's such a lovely creamy cleanser, depending on my spoons and my skin that day, I'll either use it on it's own or I love to add the Daily Microfoliant before massaging it into my skin and they work just as well either way. I learnt the mixing the daily microfoliant in with my cleanser from a previous Dermalogica masterclass. I love that Dermalogica have spray toners as it makes it so quick and easy to apply plus you can spritz your face throughout the day for an added hit of hydration. This month, I keep reaching for the Multi-Active Toner as it's a refreshing, hydrating spray that helps to soothe your skin instantly and boost hydration. I usually use it after cleansing my skin before any hyaluronic acid serum then at the end of my skincare as well as spritzing it throughout the day to soothe and hydrate my skin.
Charlotte Tilbury
I feel like Charlotte Tilbury has completely taken over my makeup for me this month, I've been a big fan of their products for several years now so it's no surprise that I've got 4 Charlotte Tilbury products in this month favourites. As someone who is milk bottle pale, I struggle finding concealers that are pale enough for me but also have the right undertone so I was made up to find that the Airbrush Flawless Blur Concealer has several shades that will work for me so I can have a shade that it lighter to help brighten up my under-eyes as well as having a skin matching colour for concealing any breakouts or discolouration. I really like using this concealer when I'm doing a full face of makeup as I can do a more full coverage look but even on my mainly skincare days, I can use the micro-dot technique to give a subtle coverage for my dark under-eye bags. To go along with having a more lightweight glowy summer with makeup, I've been using the Unreal Skin foundation stick has it gives a lovely subtle wash of colour but such a stunning glow which helps when you have super dry skin like me.
I am a big fan of tinted lip products like tinted lip balm tints or lip oils as it gives my dry lips some much needed hydration whilst also giving your lips some colour. I've been using the Pillow Talk Blush Balm lip tint in Blushed Rose since the Charlotte Tilbury masterclass and I've been obsessed cause it gives my lips all the hydration which actually lasts longer than the product is on your lips plus it gives a wash of colour and it's super easy to whack on without a mirror. Now I loved the OG Magic Cream from Charlotte Tilbury so when I ran out, I picked up the newly released version with peptide recoverstem. Again as a dry skin girly, I LOVE how nourishing this cream is for my skin whilst also leaving a beautiful glow and being an amazing base for makeup.
Cuccio Vanilla Bean & Sugar Cuticle Oil
I've been trying to take better care of my hands especially because I'm an anxious picker with my cuticles so during the christmas sales, I got the Cuccio Vanilla Bean & Sugar cuticle oil to put on my desk/bedside table to encourage me to use it on a regular basis. I love the Vanilla Bean & Sugar scent as it's such a classic, sweet scent so it matches any hand cream I pop on. You also get such a big bottle for £10 and they smell amazing so it's a brilliant bargain. I've ended decanting it into a small roll-on so that I can keep it in my handbag for applying when I'm out and about.
What have you been loving this month?
