I'm always on the hunt for really cute places to go for cocktails and especially if they're little hideaways in the middle of a busy town centre. I recently got the chance to head down to Blush Rooftop Garden on Seel Street to review their rooftop bar and try out a range of their cocktails and I couldn't wait to share this with you all because it is one of the cutest places in Liverpool!
So me and Lynsey headed along for a girly cocktail afternoon in the recent heatwave we've been having and boy did it deliver. Blush Rooftop Garden is on Seel Street, just above Zanzibar which is a short walk away from Liverpool Central station so it's very easy to get to. The majority of the bar has a retractable roof meaning you can enjoy your cocktails in the sun.
It's honestly such a hidden gem and totally has that relaxed vibe which considering it's in a pretty packed area of the town centre it is really impressive because it was so quite and peaceful when we visited even with hen and stag do's. We were very lucky when we got there cause the rain had held off so we could have the roof pulled back so we could enjoy some sunshine then take a break in the shade. I am still very much in the 90's and 00's era of music which you don't find unless you go for 'retro' nights but thankfully Blush Rooftop Garden has all the good tunes, we absolutely loved it there! We decided to try a range of their cocktails and for only £8 which is such a bargain when you compare them to other places in town.
I think my favourite has got to be the Lychee Martini, it was so delicious and refreshing, it genuinely didn't taste like it had any alcohol in it. While we were there, we also tried out some of their cocktails in a tea cup which are definitely the highlight of their cocktail menu and would be perfect for a Bridgerton style brunch or night out! The staff making the cocktails were great with recommendations if you're stuck on what cocktail to choose.
Blush Rooftop Garden has quickly become a favourite place of mine to go for cocktails with my friends or even for a date night before dinner somewhere. It's always going to be on my list of places to recommend to anyone that wants to go for cocktails and I'll be going again and again.
