Event | The Shuffle App Hits Liverpool

I'm always loving trying new food spots in the city centre and I'm always down with saving money with working less hours thanks to my chronic health problems so I was really excited to hear about the Shuffle App coming to Liverpool (it's already launched in Manchester) as it's a great way to save some money whilst also enjoying food at some of your favourite spots as well as encouraging you to try new places to eat.

The Shuffle app is now available in Liverpool with over 30 locations available for you to choose from and the app couldn't be easier to use. You download the app and connect your bank card and it will automatically spot when you spend at one of their partners and when you pay your bill, it will then give you a random % of cash back from your order which you can then withdraw from your account. Plus if you pay at one of their partners more than once in a 30 day period, you also get 5% boost on your cash back.

I got the chance to head along with my sister to be to Camp and Furnace for the Shuffle launch event and we honestly had so much fun. We were welcomed in with some drink tokens and introduced to the app, how to set it up and the local businesses that had joined the app in the city centre. In the main hall of Camp and Furnace, they had four of the businesses that are on the app there for us to try out whilst we enjoyed some live music.

I loved that they had Bold Street Coffee there to get hot or cold drinks, I of course had to go for an iced latte but my sister went for a iced chocolate which was basically chocolate milk and equally as delicious. For food, they had Madre, Bundobust, and Maray giving everyone plenty of food options. We ended up trying out Cochinita Pibil Taco from Madre and they were so good, I need to work out the recipe to make these tacos at home, they were that good!

It was so wonderful to meet all the people behind the wonderful local businesses as well as the lovely people behind the Shuffle app. It was so easy and straight forward to set up the app on my phone and I'm excited to head into Liverpool and start putting the app to the test.

Have you tried an app like this before?

Speak to you next time!
