With all the beautiful sunshine coming into Liverpool, it's time for the rooftop bars to open and I got the pleasure to be one of the first to see the Tempest on Tithebarn Rooftop terrace when it opened for the summer. They are most definitely my favourite place to go for cocktails so I was so excited to head along and check it out while we had some gorgeous sunny weather in Liverpool.
Tempest on Tithebarn is just a short walk from the train stations in the city centre so it's perfect place to pop in for dinner and cocktails or even to rent out for an event. Their rooftop terrace is perfect in the Summer to rent out as you not only get to see the bee hives that Tempest use to get honey for their cocktails and menu but there's also a small bar and space for food or music. It holds around 100 people and gives you a stunning birds eye view of Liverpool. It has such a relaxing vibe to it, especially being right at the top of the Tempest you don't hear all the hustle and bustle below.
I can confirm that their signature cocktail The Tempest is by far my favourite cocktail to get from them and it's perfect for drinking in the sunshine, we ended up getting all the people on our table drinking them. Whilst we were there, they had a little BBQ going which honestly made it feel like summer had arrived. I will say that I'd take some to wrap up with as once the sun goes down, it does get a bit chilly once the sun sets.
We all had such a lovely evening enjoying the BBQ, cocktails and music in the sun. It honestly would make sure a great after work thing to go to to relax and catch up with friends. You can find all about the events they host on their website, they have a select couple up on the rooftop terrace but it's definitely worth a wander down for a cocktail in the sun whenever you're next in Liverpool.
