I don't know if I'm the only one who's hands have completely suffered with all this cold weather. I don't think it helps that my mum also gets really dry hands and unfortunately it's passed onto me. I'm always on the hunt for a great hand cream that will leave my hands feeling nourished and help prevent any cracking I seem to get on my knuckles. Next up to try and review is the L'Occitane Shea Butter 20% hand cream so let's get into what I thought.

Shea Butter 20% Hand Cream
I got the chance to try out the new L'Occitane Shea Butter 20% hand cream which couldn't have come at a better time for me. This hand cream gas a 20% concentration of shea butter so it helps to nourish and soothe your hands whilst also protecting them against environmental aggressors and helping to rebalance your skin's barrier. It has specially formulated with dry skin in mind with a thick texture that still sinks in easily, it also has jasmine and ylang ylang to leave your hands smelling incredible.

I struggle with broken and chapped skin on my cuticles but also on my knuckles when my skin gets really dry. It is designed to give you 8 hours of hydration with a non-greasy formula, I love how quickly this melts into my hands without any stinging or burning. Any dry and chapped skin always looks better straight away and it gets better over time. I pop this hand cream once in the morning when I get up and then once throughout the day or before I go to bed to help them feel and look nourished and hydrated. It is no surprise that this hand cream has won award after award with how amazing it is. I really love using this hand cream cause it's got such a relaxing, calming scent and really reminds me of those soft, baby scent.

I've always had the smaller 30ml tubes of the Shea Butter hand cream and it's been a handbag essential so I'm so glad that I've finally got the 150ml tube cause it is going to last me ages. I find that even a little of this hand cream goes a long way and especially the 20% Shea Butter hand cream is so much thicker like I genuinely found it a bit difficult to get some squeezed out of it but maybe that's because I'm a bit weak! I absolutely despise hand creams that leave my hands feeling greasy but literally within seconds of applying it, this Shea Butter hand cream completely melts into your skin and leaves it with a velvet, nourished feeling. I think I'm gonna have to get the magic key to help me squeeze every little bit out of the tube but I've already got my eyes on some of the other scents that L'Occitane have with their hand creams.

Have you tried the L'Occitane hand creams yet?

Speak to you next time!
