I talked the other week about really struggling with pain and my sleeping pattern and I tend to find that when I'm struggling with these, my routines and self care just seems to go out the window cause my body is just completely out of whack. Thankfully the lovely folks at Kloris sent me over a little box of their CBD goodies to help me get back into a better bedtime routine and get a better quality sleep.

My Evening Routine
Since I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia something that has been reiterated to me again and again the importance of having a good wind down and sleep routine in order to try and get the best quality sleep possible. Restore CBD & Magnesium Bath Block
I was so excited to see a CBD bath product in my parcel from Kloris as this was something completely new for me as I've never actually tried CBD bath products before. As the nights are starting to get darker and the weathers getting a lot more rainy, it's the perfect time of year to start having bubble baths again. Kloris actually offer 4 different CBD bath blocks, recharge, relax, restore, and revive, all with 25mg CBD in each. The Kloris Restore CBD bath block is designed to detox, nourish, soften, and exfoliate. Also for those of you that don't have a bath, Kloris actually recommend that you can also use the bath blocks as a soothing foot scrub too.
Even though Kloris recommend that you put the entire bath block in the bath, I actually split mine in half to use it in two baths alongside my usual epsom salts and muscle relaxing bubble bath and it worked perfectly for me. Oh my word I love the scent of the Restore bath block, it literally reminds me of those powdery sweets that I used to get when I was younger. With fibromyalgia I suffer from a lot of muscle aches and sore joints and I swear getting in the bath helps massively with all the pain and aches.
Superior CBD 500mg Drops
I am not normally a fan of unflavoured CBD drops because let's face it, I'm fussy and not a fan of the herbal taste they usually have. I was really surprised when I tried the Kloris 500mg CBD as it barely tasted of anything and what I could taste, tasted basically like black tea so very easy especially for someone as fussy as me to use on a regular basis. The 500mg CBD oil comes in an easy to use dropper bottle and the 10ml bottle makes its super compact and easy to keep at home or carry with you.
Kloris recommend that you use 4-10 drops at a time as required, they estimate that each drop contains 2.5mg CBD and you get roughly 200 drops in your bottle so with regular use, you get about a month's worth of product for £36. I've mainly been taking 4-5 drops before bed, I usually take them before I start my night routine so that it's got enough time to start kicking in before I actually get into bed. You only have to hold it under your tongue for 60-90 seconds to it to absorb then you can swallow the rest, I pop it under my tongue then go into the bathroom to wash my face and by the time I've finished washing my face, the 90 seconds is up. I've struggled recently with the quality of my sleep and I've found that taking this 500mg CBD oil before bed has not only helped me to wind down but it's actually helped me to stay asleep and not be waking up multiple times throughout the night. I love that Kloris also offer a CBD oil subscription so you can get either the 500mg or 1,00mg bottle every 2, 4, 6, or 8 weeks, meaning you don't have to worry about running out and forgetting to order another bottle. It will literally come right as your current bottle ends.
Luxury CBD Balm
As someone with chronic aches and pains, I love anything like CBD balm that I can massage in and help reduce the pain and stiffness I suffer with. I really like that Kloris offer the Luxury CBD Balm in 30ml pot, perfect for keeping at home but they also do a mini purse friendly option so I've constantly got it to hand if I get a flare up whilst I'm out and about. The Luxury CBD Balm contains 400mg of high strength CBD obtained from organic Cannabis Sativa L.Hemp that is grown in Europe, it's also filled with Shea Butter, Coconut Butter, Mango Butter, and Cacao Butter. Combine all of those butters together and you can imagine how incredible this balm smells, I find the scent so relaxing so even if you couldn't apply it for whatever reason, you can always pull it out when you're feeling stressed and have a smell and take a few minutes of concentrated breathing to help you relax.
You can use as much or as little of this CBD Balm as you like, I find that the less is more option is always best. This balm starts melting into your skin as soon as it makes contact with your body heat, so as soon as you start scooping a little bit out, it turns from a white balm into an oil. I love using this CBD Balm on aches and pains on my muscles and joints, especially if I'm mid-flare up or I've taken all my painkillers possible and they're just not hitting it, this Luxury CBD Balm helps me just bridge that gap full of pain.
