I think we're all aware now that I'm a pretty well established skincare addict but one thing I've not tried is skincare in ampoules, now I am used to cracking little medication ampoules so I can't look at these serum ampoules from Arcaya without thinking of work but I do really love this unique way of packaging a skincare product. I was kindly sent two of their serums to test out and I thought I would share my experience with you all.
Arcaya Skincare
Arcaya Skincare are a German cosmetics brand that create skincare ampoules that are designed to be simple and effective for all skin types but that also address all skin concerns. Their products are housed in glass ampoules so they can offer a shot of high concentration, active ingredients to tackle your skin concerns instead of creating products that are filled with parabens and filler ingredients that don't serve any use for your skin. All of the Arcaya products are developed and produced in Germany with all of your orders being shipped directly from Germany. I love that they don't settle with their formulas, Arcaya are always actioning on feedback and research to be continually improving the quality of their products.
The lovely folks at Arcaya invited me to do their quiz to find my skin type and the products most recommended for me, they kindly sent me the two products that was most recommended to me, the Golden Repair ampoules and Hemp & Olive ampoules.
Golden Repair Ampoules
Is there anything more luxurious than skincare with gold in?! I love that the Golden Repair ampoules have little flakes of gold floating in the serum. The Golden Repair ampoules are designed to be energy-releasing concentrate with a lifting effect, whilst also giving your skin a beautiful radiant appearance. The three key ingredients in these are gold, caviar extract, and niacinamide which help to stimulate the formation of new cells and has regenerating effect, whilst also strengthening your skin's barrier and helping to retain moisture.
You get 5 of the Arcaya Golden Repair ampoules for £19.95 so for me they're a luxury product at £3.99 per ampoule so it is something that I would treat myself too, either if I wanted a pamper or as a celebration (yes I reward good things in my life with luxury skincare). The ampoules are so easy to use, you simply shake the ampoule well to mix the ingredients in the ampoule together (you can flick the lid gently with your finger if product is stuck in the top). I popped the Golden Repair ampoules after cleansing and toning my face in the morning and it melted into my skin leaving it glowing, perfect for the minimal makeup days.
Hemp & Olive Ampoules
I have very dry, sensitive skin so I love anything that is designed to specifically help tackle that problem. Luckily the Hemp & Olive ampoule is the perfect solution for dry and sensitive skin as it helps to hydrate and soothe your skin whilst also nourishing and strengthening your skin's cell growth. Its three main ingredients are hemp oil, olive oil, and sesame oil which all help to protect your skin whilst also leaving it soft with no irritation.
I was really pleasantly surprised, I wasn't 100% sold on the idea of this ampoule however I really liked it as it's a thicker formula. I felt that the Hemp & Olive ampoule melted straight into my skin and left it looking less irritated on my cheeks and breakouts. Compared to the Golden Repair, the Hemp & Olive ampoule is a white, milky formula and I've been using it at night time after cleansing my skin. I actually prefer using at night time as it really sinks in and when I wake up any irritation has improved drastically and my skin is so soft without any oiliness.
I've really loved testing out the Arcaya skincare ampoules and I actually want to try out the Beauty Sleep, Glow To Go, and Jasmine ampoules next cause they sound right up my street for my skin right now. I love that Arcaya are cruelty-free and are continually researching and developing their products to give you the best quality skincare to tackle all your skin concerns.
