New In | Rheal Superfoods Blends

Danielle Levy, Rheal Superfoods, health blogger, lifestyle blogger, Liverpool blogger, Wirral blogger,
If you're new to my blog and social media, you will not know that I suffer from several chronic illnesses including chronic pain which means for the last couple of years, I've generally feel pretty rubbish and the fatigue has been next level. Thankfully the lovely folks at Rheal Superfoods kindly sent along two of their tonic drinks to try out and they couldn't have come at the most perfect time as I'm about to do the 65 Thrive challenge to try and get myself back into gentle fitness following the asthma attack that left me hospitalised.

Rheal Superfoods
Rheal Superfoods was created by Charlotte and Sean. Charlotte was previously fit and well up until 2012 when she got diagnosed with Coeliac disease and a few years later whilst in university she noticed how much her fatigue and digestive issues were impacting her lifestyle and Sean was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma before getting the all clear in 2019, so they both went looking for more natural ways to help which lead them to creating Rheal Superfoods. They strive to show that small changes can have a big impact on how you feel physically and mentally. Their products are designed to work for you and your lifestyle, including their Superfood Blends being able to taken just mixed into water or added into things like smoothies. You can pick up their Superfood Blends and their Rheal Energy Bars either direct from their website or from the likes of Holland & Barrett. If you're unsure what to go for, they have a quiz on their website where you answer a couple of questions and it'll suggest their product recommendations off what you answer.

Gut Feel Blend
Firstly I kindly received the Gut Feel blend which is designed to be a natural prebiotic with gut friendly superfoods to help your gut feel it's best every day. It's filled with apple, barley grass, ginger, and Actazin kiwi fruit. It's designed to be easy to use either mixed into water or mixed into fresh juices, smoothies and yoghurts. One container has enough servings to give you enough for 30 days worth of drinks and these are filled right up to the top. These powders are so easy to use, you can either simply add 5g (or 1 heaped teaspoon) to cold water every morning before whizzing it with my milk frother to get it combined quickly before adding ice or my favourite way is to add them to my breakfast smoothies. When mixed with cold water, I've been adding a squeeze of either lemon or lime to give it an extra burst of flavour cause I find on it's own it doesn't really have much of a taste which is great if you're funny with flavours. I have noticed that my usual bloating that I get has started to improve with me using the Gut Feel Blend every morning.

Balance Tonic
Next up, they kindly sent me the Balance Tonic blend which is designed to support optimal feminine health and inner calm. This blend has been designed in collaboration with Dr Faiza Khalid. It's filled with blueberry, hibiscus, baobab, ashwagandha root, shatavri root and maca root. Similar to the Gut Feel blend, this one can also be taken straight in water or you can add it to smoothies and yoghurts. As someone that's got really bad anxiety, I love that it's got 500mg of ashwagandha and maca in which helps with stress and helps to calm you so I can be helping treat my anxiety in a non-medicinal way. This Balance Tonic blend has more of a scent compared to the Gut Feel blend but similar it doesn't really have a huge taste and because they're made with 100% organic ingredients and not made with artificial flavours, sugars or sweeteners so it does have a more natural taste. Similar to the other blend, I do pop this into my morning smoothie as a quick and easy way to take it plus having this routine makes sure that I take it on a regular basis. I feel like since taking this my fatigue and brain fog hasn't been as severe as usual.

I've already got some of their other blends on my list to try next as well as their energy bars cause the flavours all sound absolutely delicious. I've tried supplement tablets for the last couple of years and as someone who already takes a million and one tablets everyday for my chronic health conditions, taking my supplements in this way was such a great alternative and it's also helped me to get into a better morning routine.

Have you ever tried anything like this?

Speak to you next time!
