We all know how much of a skincare addict I am and how much I enjoy testing out new skincare brands and falling in love with new products so when the lovely folks at IMAGE Skincare got in touch and offered to send me some of their goodies to try out for the first time, I wanted to share it with you for the packaging alone but I also thought how amazing their skincare gift sets are especially with the run up to Christmas.

IMAGE Skincare kindly sent along their Botanical Boosters gift set which contains the Ormedic Balancing facial cleanser and Ormedic Balancing lip enhancement complex. This gift set includes a 5oml discovery size of the facial cleanser and 7g full size tube of the lip treatment for £25 which is the perfect little gift set if you have someone in your life that is sensitive to fragrances in skincare product or someone starting out in skincare. The Ormedic Balancing facial cleanser is such a gentle, scent-free cleanser that doesn't leave your skin feeling stripped. I love that it didn't irritate my skin but left it feeling cleansed and soft. The Ormedic Balancing lip enhancement complex is honestly worth its weight in gold. You get the full size 7g tube which is a ultra hydrating lip balm that really nourishes with the polypeptide formula. I've loved using this before bed to give my lips an added hit of hydration but because of the small squeeze tube size, its perfect for popping in my scrubs pocket and I don't have to dip my fingers in a tub whilst I'm on shift in the hospital.
Daily Perfecting Primer
Even if I have a makeup free day, I do like to make sure that I've got some form of SPF on my skin and sometimes I'll actually pop a little primer over the top of my skincare to help blur and even everything out. I got the chance to try out the Prevention+ Daily Perfecting primer which is a tinted primer to give you a little bit of coverage whilst all the other benefits of the primer. It contained a 100% mineral SPF 50 and helps with the environmental stresses on your skin whilst also blurs any imperfections and evening skin texture, wrinkles and pores to give you a soft matte finish.
Whilst I love using it on it's own on my skincare-only days because it leaves a soft matte finish, it layers beautifully under my makeup and I've noticed that I don't end up with excessive oils around my nose and chin throughout the day whilst keeping that satin, soft matte finish to my makeup all day. With this being a tinted primer and because I have pretty fair skin, a little of this goes a long way and it blends in nicely, if I have a bit of a heavy hand I can end up looking a little more bronzed and glowy so it all depends what look I'm going through. Overall I'm really impressed with this primer, it's been my go to at the moment because not only does it give my skin some hydration but it also allows me to have that blurred, glowy look even without makeup on top.
