You know I'm all for new skincare from brands I've never tried before and I am a complete newbie when it comes to Bondi Sands so I was so excited when some of their newly launched skincare arrived at my door. Now I've not even tried so much as a fake tan from Bondi Sands but after trying this Bondi Sands skincare I think I'm gonna have to check out their other products.
Bondi Sands
For those of you that don't know Bondi Sands is an Australian owned and produced brand that are inspired by Australia's most iconic beach and strive to make getting the ultimate tan accessible for everyone whether you live in the sunniest or dreariest place on Earth. They give you salon-quality formulas that are designed to give you the most even, naturally golden tan that hydrates and nourishes your skin to keep your tan lasting longer in the comfort of your own home. All of their products are also vegan and cruelty-free.
Bondi Babe Clay Mask
Even though I have really dry skin, I often find that I end up with quite a few hormonal spots around my chin/nose which ends up getting more irritated by the face masks I have to wear at work so this Bondi Babe clay mask is perfect to give my skin a good cleanse once or twice a week. I'll usually multi-mask with this clay mask and pop it on my T-zone whilst putting a hydrating face mask on my cheeks.
The Bondi Babe clay mask is filled with blue spirulina extract, red algae extract, bentonite clay and matcha which helps to reduce redness, draw out impurities and purify whilst leaving you with beautiful, glowy skin. I been using this once or twice a week since it arrived depending on how my skin is looking that week.
Daydream Whipped Moisturiser
I don't think that I've ever tried a whipped moisturiser so I was actually really interested in how the Daydream whipped moisturiser would feel like/how it would work with my dry skin cause I'm used to going for thick cream style moisturisers. It's filled with sunflower seed oil, rosehip oil, and dessert lime extract to leave your skin nourished and hydrated all day long. I was really impressed when I first put it on cause it melted almost instantly without leaving a layer on my skin or making it pill throughout the day. It just leaves my skin with a silky finish to my skin.
I love that the Daydream whipped moisturiser doesn't have a heavy scent and even without being popped in the fridge as soon as you apply it, it's really cooling to your skin so it's perfect for the hot weather (and the incoming heat wave!). I find that a little of this moisturiser goes a long way, even for my dry skin so for only £9.99, you really are going to get your money's worth.
Gold'n Hour Vitamin C Serum
Finally is the Gold'n Hour Vitamin C serum which of course is a vitamin C serum because is your skincare really complete without it?! The Bondi Sands vitamin C serum is filled with vitamin C (of course!), kakadu plum, and licorice root extract which helps to brighten and even out your complexion but it also helps nourish your skin leaving it looking radiant. I do find that it gives my skin a really nice lovely glow but I usually have to combine it with a more intensive hydrating serum for my dry skin.
My only issue with this product and I don't know if I just got a bum one and it doesn't seal properly when the lid is put on but when it arrived the serum had leaked all inside the lid and was starting to drip down the side, dry and become sticky on the packaging. I eventually got it all cleaned up and then it accidentally got put on its side later and has all leaked again so I think I do just have a bit of a dodgy bottle.
I'm so impressed with how reasonably priced the Bondi Sands skincare range is, from £8.99 for the hyaluronic acid to £12.99 for their SPF meaning you can get a whole routine for super cheap and in really cute packaging. I for one am loving that it's all in pastel colours and really cute packaging so it'd look cute out on my makeup dresser.
