It's been a little while since I got the chance to visit Hey Farina, I think the last time I got the chance to visit was for their opening weekend and that just blew me away. This time Hey Farina were doing a weekly Taste of Italy style evening where once a week you could get a meal themed around different parts of Italy.

Hey Farina is an amazing Italian restaurant connected to The Italian Quarter on Tarleton Street and is your perfect spot for authentic Italian food. Farina is the Queen of flour who is supposed to make everything brighter in your mouth and every bread has the perfect crisp and pasta shapes are the perfect shape. They offer freshly made sandwiches, a pasta bar which has a traditional and gourmet pasta dishes, as well as salads, street food bites, small plates and sharing boards.
Taste of Italy
Recently Hey Farina have changed up their menu by doing a series of Taste of Italy nights where you could get a limited edition meal that is at Hey Farina for that one night. When we went, we got the chance to visit Sicily for the night. We had a traditional arancino with bolognese sauce and peas as well as potato croquette with ham, cheese and pistachio pesto for only £10 including a glass of wine from the region.
It was that good that we went back for seconds on the arancino's and they even gave us a taster of the Pacchero pasta dish which was slow cooked so it practically fell apart. Before we left we decided to try out some of their lovely cocktail menu and went for a Gin Fizz. It was the perfect fresh and tart tasting cocktail, it's the perfect way to cleanse your palette between courses because all the food is so rich and delicious.
I've been a fan of Hey Farina since trying some of their pasta dishes on their opening weekend and it's quickly becoming my go-to place in the city centre to go for Italian food. I need to head to the Italian Quarter next to try out some of their menu.
