Can I just tell you how much of a shock I got when I got the message inviting little old me to the launch night of the Ivy Brasserie in Castle street Liverpool. I'd heard little sneak peaks that they might have been coming but I didn't realise that they were coming quite as fast as they did and let me tell you they completely smashed it out of the park with their welcome to Liverpool night!

The Ivy Brasserie has officially opened it's doors on Castle street and is now open 7 days a week offering everything from breakfast through to dinner, offering you modern British cuisine to brasserie classics including vegan and vegetarian dishes. They've even got afternoon tea, and have launched their festive menu's so if you don't fancy cooking this year over the festive periods, you can book a table with them.
For their launch night, the Ivy went big as you can see from the pictures with the whole front lit up, everyone ready to welcome us in full uniform. We were welcomed in with champagne and live music and as we were mingling, the wonderful staff came around with different canapés for us to try as a sampling of what you can expect to find on the usual menu. Now I took one of my close cousins along with me to the event as she absolutely loves visiting the Manchester location and raves about the food.
Of course, the Ivy Brasserie has incredible interior design including greenery, and even the flooring. No detail was too much, they thought about everything, even in the bathrooms they had little stations for you to touch up your makeup with cute little seats. I need to head back and see what it's like to have a sit down meal and some mocktails cause whilst it was an amazing welcome to Liverpool night, it became a little bit too crowded for me so I'll prefer to try it out for a sit down meal and try out the rest of the menu. I am particularly interested in trying out their afternoon tea because it sounds like a great like things to do with either friends or family and I do have a birthday coming up after Christmas.
Have you visited The Ivy Brasserie yet?
Speak to you next time!

*I was kindly invited along to the launch night. All opinions are honest and my own.
