Blogmas Day 1 | November Favourites

I can't believe that I'm already writing my November favourites, this month has absolutely flown by. I'm already prepping for Christmas, planning blogmas content and all my social content. I've been so busy between work and being unwell then attending the odd blogging event that I haven't really been doing too much that's different.

This month I've been reaching for my Charlotte Tilbury products again and again but my favourite have definitely been the beautiful skin foundation, airbrush flawless finish powder and the lip blur. As I've gotten into my 30's I'm really finding that I'm preferring a more medium coverage foundation then spot concealing where needs more coverage so I love that the beautiful skin foundation gives me an even canvas whilst also being able to let my skin breathe. I then combine it with the airbrush flawless powder which literally blurs wherever I apply it to my face. I have chronically dry lips so I love the lip blur's cause these don't dry down matte or hard so I can rub my lips together without them having those horrible dry, tacky feeling. I find I can wear these liquid lipsticks through eating and drinking without too much off a bother and without it ending up all over my face.

One of my favourite skincare brands is currently L'Occitane, it's one of the top skincare brands that I keep reaching for again and again on a daily basis and my skin seems to be loving their products. Because the weather has been so cold, I've been using the immortelle divine cream as my day cream to pack in some much needed moisture into my skin before applying makeup, then of an evening I used the overnight reset serum which is the perfect hydrating serum to leave your skin looking hydrated and plump when you wake up in the morning.

If you've been a long time reader of my blog, you'll know that I've been a fan of Dermalogica products for years so of course with the weather getting cold, I had to have a couple of their products in this month's favourites. Whenever I do my skincare, I always use a facial mist to really help lock in the moisture so I always apply it once I've washed my face and before I apply any serums then also as a final step in my skincare routine. I'm really liking the ultracalming mist at the minute because it helps to calm any redness in my skin whilst soothing and hydrating my skin at the same time. With the weather being really cold I've been using the pro-collagen banking serum in either my morning or evening skincare routine as it really helps to plump my skin and hydrate my skin and I really like that this serum doesn't pill on my skin. Something new I've added in this month is the phyto nature oxygen cream which I remember when this bad boy launched and everybody raved about it (I'm a little late to the party) but every night that I've used this as my night cream, my skin honestly looks incredible the next morning. Even if I've had a bad spoons week and haven't been able to get out of bed and do any skincare, I can apply this once and you wouldn't be able to tell that I'd been really bad with my skincare.

I have loved these Hourglass ambient palettes for a couple of years now and I'm gonna be real with you all, I still have my palette from the year before last (judge me all you want!). I love that this palette has a finishing palette, two blushes, bronzer and a highlighting powder. I love how lightweight the powders are so they blend beautifully and I don't have to worry about having a bit of a heavy hand when I'm applying it. These powders also have a stunning as they have a more glowy effect to them so they are beautiful when applied either over powder or liquid makeup products.

I always finish off my skincare routine with a lip oil and I usually have one brand or another on me at all times, most recently I've been keeping the Trigwell cosmetics watermelon lip oil by work desk/where my skincare products are so I can use it at the end of my morning skincare routine but then also throughout the day. You can get these lip oils in 3 other fruit scents so you can choose your favourite scent, I of course had to go for the watermelon. I like this hydrates my lips without feeling greasy and is perfect for wearing on it's own or wearing over the top of lipsticks for a bit of added gloss.

What have you been loving this month?
