It's not often that Rosie is featured on my blog, but when the lovely folks over at Caboodle kindly offered to send me a week's worth of their subscription service food to see if it can pass the test with my forever fussy eater Rosie so it's about time that I shared with you how we got on with a little review about the dog food and how much Rosie loved it.
Caboodle
Caboodle was born out of a passion of dogs, their food and their wellbeing. It was founded by Simon Arkwright, Gillian Quek and Karen Hanton, the founders had a joint desire to create a better way to feed your beloved pups. The more it was discussed, the more they realised all the trial and error, and guesswork that goes into feeding your dog so they strived to make daily feeding more straight forward. Not everyone lucks out with a dog with an iron stomach. Caboodle is a daily food box that are perfectly combined and portioned for your dog, all you do is answer about a quiz about your pup then they do all the weighing and measuring.
Rosie's Review
So if you didn't already know, Rosie is a really fussy dog and will one day love her food and wolf it down then the next day it will literally take her 10+ hours to nibble at it. Thankfully with Caboodle, every day has a completely different theme and flavour. The menu consists of Happy Monday, Superfood Tuesday, Hearty Wednesday, Game Night Thursday, Big Fish Friday, Supreme Saturday, Sunday Roast.
Each day has a combination of of wet food and kibble for her two meals a day as well as a small bag of treats and a dental chew. Because Rosie is so fussy, having a menu that is constantly changing day on day helped to keep her interest so she was actually interested in eating her food and most days her meals were gone within 30 minutes which is a really big improvement compared her usual food where she literally eats her food over 10 hours. I love that its such a quick and easy service to use, you simply answer questions about your pup and they give you exactly the right amount of food including her dental chews and treats for the day. Rosie has the blue stack which is priced at £3.96 a day with free premium UPS delivery. The only issue is that the service is currently only available for dogs between 4-16kg but hopefully soon they'll be doing it for more pups of bigger sizes.
