During December I've been kindly introduced to Elizabeth Grant skincare which has recently become available in the UK. They kindly sent me along a selection of their skincare to test out and review for you all. So I thought I would kick things off with a general first impressions style blog post with some of the first products I've tried then the more that I've been testing them out, I'll be doing individual product reviews for you all.

First Impressions
First up is the Essence of Torricelumn which is their best selling, award winning serum that is designed to be suitable for all skin types. It's filled with Torricelumn in its purest, most concentrated form that works to intensively plump and rejuvenate your skin as well as ubiquinone, marula oil, and Japanese green tea, all of which help to refresh, moisturise and boost collagen production. I found that you only need a couple of drops of the Essence of Torricelumn to do your entire face as a little goes a long way, any more than that and it can leave your skin feeling a bit sticky. I love that this literally melts into your skin as soon as you apply it to freshly cleansed skin, it also doesn't have much of a scent so it's great for those who don't like skincare with much fragrance. This essence leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated, with the cold weather lately I've really been liking applying this morning and evening to keep my skin hydrated.
As soon as the box of skincare goodies arrived, I was in love with the packaging of this Night Wonder Concentrate. It's a deep blue bottle covered in gold stars, it just looks so beautiful left out of on the side of my dresser, its so eye catching. It's a gently exfoliating treatment that works whilst you sleep all night to help deeply moisturise, repair and rejuvenate your skin. This Night Wonder Concentrate is filled with Torricelumn, glycolic acid and hyaluronic acid to help remove impurities and skin imperfections, diminish open pores, and boost skin hydration. I pop a couple of drops onto my fingers then massage it into my face and neck, whilst it starts off as a thicker serum, it melts into my skin and has a very light scent to it but nothing overwhelming. I'm excited to see the difference in my skin with daily use for a month (keep your eyes peeled for a review once I've been exclusively using it for a month).
Finally is the Torricelumn Absolute cleansing balm which is a great effective balm to oil cleanser that helps to melt away makeup whilst also leaving your skin feeling soft and silky without feeling stripped. It's filled with Torricelumn, coconut oil, moringa seed extract and aloe vera which helps to cleanse and melt away makeup whilst also fighting signs of aging, helping to nourish and soothe your skin, whilst also having anti-bacterial properties. A bit test for me with cleansing balms is whether it can take off my waterproof mascara whilst not irritating my sensitive eyes. I really like using this cleansing balm to melt away my makeup then using microfiber facial cleansing puffs to wipe off my makeup without lots of rubbing at my eyes. I really like the scent of the Torricelumn Absolute cleansing balm, it's lavender and essential oils so it really helps me to unwind and relax after a long day.
