I can easily spend 13 hours on my feet when I'm on my shift running around getting all my jobs done and looking after my patients in Critical Care. I honestly think I am honestly the worst when it comes to taking proper care of my feet, it's always the step in my self care routine that I tend to skip over. I think it might be due to the fact that I hate when you apply foot care products and you literally can't move otherwise you'd be slipping and sliding around the place. Thankfully Flexitol have completely changed my views on foot care products so I thought I'd share my experiences with you all.
Rescue Heel Balm
In the past I've only ever used a one size fits all foot cream instead of thinking of the skin on my feet, like I think about the skin on my feet. I need to think about the difference problems I have with my skin in the same way so I'm using products that target those problems directly. The Rescue Heel balm is Flexitol's number one product and is designed to rescue dry and cracked skin with results shown within 1 day. Once it's resolved your cracked or dry skin, it can also be used as a maintenance product. The Rescue Heel balm is also safe for diabetics to use on their feet.
I've really loved using the Rescue Heel balm and I think it's going to be absolutely amazing and my must-have come Winter. It's such a nice thick moisturiser and as soon as you apply it, it literally melts into your skin. I do find that the Rescue Heel balm has a slight scent to it but I found that once it was rubbed it, you don't notice it at all. I used this balm to tackle the dry edge I tend to get at the bottom of my heel which I think is solely from my shoes and this baby completely got rid of the dry edge and left my feel feeling so smooth.
Hard Skin & Callus Balm
The Hard Skin & Callus balm is like an even more intense version of the Rescue Heel balm which not only helps to immediately soften any hard skin or calluses, it also gently exfoliates skin and promotes healthy skin growth. It's filled with 22% Urea and a blend of Alpha Hydroxy Acids which help to gently exfoliate any hard or callused skin whilst leaving the normal skin underneath soft and hydrated.
I must say I really like the scent of the Hard Skin & Callus balm compared to the Rescue Heel balm, again it is lightly scented which you can't even tell once you've rubbed it in. I found that the Hard Skin & Callus balm left my skin feeling super soft. The Hard Skin & Callus balm is more of a thicker moisturiser but it didn't leave me feeling like I couldn't walk around, it soaked in within 30 seconds and left me with a soft, satin feel to my feet. I've been using this balm as a maintainer after the Rescue Heel balm on my heels and the ball of my foot to keep all the dry parts at bay.
Intensely Nourishing Foot Cream
Finally we have the Intensely Nourishing Foot cream which is filled with vitamin E and 10% Urea to leave your feet feeling soft and hydrated. It has a rapidly absorbing which means you're not waiting ages for your moisturiser to sink in before you can get up and moving. This foot cream honestly has the best scent of all the products that I've tried, it's such a light, fresh scent.
I am so bad at using a foot cream on a regular basis because I hate that slippery feeling and thankfully this cream doesn't do that in the slightest. I find that the Intensely Nourishing Foot cream melts straight into my skin, so I can pop it on first then by the time I've moisturised the rest of my body, my feet are silky soft and I can actually walk around. At the end of a long work week, I really love popping this on then popping some socks on top and sleeping in till whatever time I fancy and when I wake up, my feet are honestly so soft and they feel brand new.
