I am slowly trying to extend my perfume collection and trying brands that are brand new to me. Recently I got the chance to try out the Valentino Born In Roma Donna perfume. I am completely new to Valentino perfumes so I was excited to try it out and add it to my collection as I've seen people raving about the Valentino perfumes on social media recently, I was really intrigued to see how it worked for my skin.

The Born In Roma perfume is inspired by Rome, showing a story of self-expression and a celebration of people living freely whilst embracing their heritage. It has top notes of jasmine, heart notes of cashmere and base notes of vanilla. I feel like Valentino perfumes have such an iconic bottle design, the glass bottle is covered in spikes as well as having a black spiked cuff. I am all about sweet, floral and vanilla perfumes so as soon as I saw the notes in the Born In Roma perfume, I knew it was the perfect perfume to add into my current collection.

I've been testing out this perfume as a day-time perfume and I've really been loving it. It's a really nice scent and I find that the jasmine and vanilla seem to be the top notes that come out for me. I like that it's not an overwhelming scent but still sticks around and gets me compliments hours after I've applied it. You can pick this perfume up in 30ml, 50ml & 100ml bottles, priced between £72 and £145. As we're coming into Spring, this perfume will be a beautiful day-time scent and has gone straight into my perfume rotation.
