I've been blogging for quite some years now and I remember back when I used to go to beauty events in Debenhams in Chester but when the brand shut down in Chester, the building stood empty for years so I was really excited to see this year, a Harrods Beauty hall has opened in it's location and with that has come a Charlotte Tilbury counter right as you walk in.
The Charlotte Tilbury counter is right as you walk in the main doors with a huge counter and plenty of spots to have beauty services from the wonderful women from Charlotte Tilbury. I headed in shortly after they opened to visit the counter, get a little makeup service and share it with you all.
I was not surprised that it quickly became heaving with people not long after we got there and we went at 10.30 in the morning so be prepared for it to be busy when you visit. Everyone on the counter is so lovely and they have plenty of lovely people working there so even when it was really busy, everyone was served and bought their items with minimal waiting around. The Charlotte Tilbury counter has a range of free and redeemable on products services available, plus everyone can help out if you need shade matching or need advice on how to use a certain product.
Now I went to the counter with the new Airbrush Flawless Blur concealer in mind, partly because I love Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders but I also have fair skin and genetic under-eye wrinkles so I wanted to get colour matched in the concealer and had it applied so I could give it a little test run for my under-eye wrinkles before getting it on payday. They currently have 34 shades in this concealer in cool, neutral and warm undertones for fair, medium, tan and deep skin tones. As someone that has struggled for years with concealer shades thanks to my pale skin, I was actually impressed that I had multiple shade options so I could have a skin matching option to spot conceal on my face but also a brightening shade for under my eyes to help brighten my very tired eyes.
I went in with a little bit of makeup on already and they were able to take off parts as needed like my concealer and was able to blend in their products without everything going all patchy. We did do a little blush and lip top-up which ended up converting me to the coral/peach side for summer. I found the whole experience amazing because it encouraged me to try out some makeup goodies outside my makeup comfort zone and I ended up coming away with the Coral Kiss lipstick that you can see be wearing cause I was in love with how complimentary it was for my skin and eyes but if I was looking at the lipsticks on my own, I wouldn't have thought to pick up and try that shade.
