Farmacy skincare and particularly the Honey Halo moisturiser has been something that I've lusted over and been dying to try for a while to see how it helped my dry skin but I've never gotten around to picking up. Thankfully I was recently sent some goodies from Farmacy to test out and was over the moon to see the Honey Halo in it so I had to share a little review with you all.
Deep Sweep 2% BHA Toner
This is the first time that I've tried a BHA toner and I'd heard such great things about the Deep Sweep 2% BHA toner so I couldn't wait to start trying it. I got the 50ml size and I've been using this toner morning and night since it arrived for a month or two and I'm only just getting to the bottom of the bottle. It's filled with 2% salicylic acid, papaya enzyme and chlorella which helps to refresh, purify your pores and give you radiant skin without stripping your skin. Because I have to wear a face mask for hours at a time at work, I've noticed that I've gotten more blemishes around my chin/cheek area. Thankfully adding this Deep Sweep 2% BHA toner into my skincare routine has helped keeping them at bay and it's definitely on my list to repurchase when it runs out.
10% Waterless Vitamin C Serum
My skin can get pretty dull at times so I love having a vitamin C serum in my skincare so I was excited to add in the 10% Waterless Vitamin C serum when my last one ran out. I'm really impressed with the packaging the Farmacy serums come in as with the pump there's minimal chance of bacteria getting into your product from your fingers or touching the dipper to your face. The only thing I've not a fan of is that any time I open this serum, it seems to have excess product on the inside of the lid and on the pump. This vitamin C serum helps to even out your skincare and improve the appearance of any dark spots you may have. The formula is really interesting cause the serum melts into your skin and is a thinner serum which I prefer as it melts super quickly into my skin without leaving it feeling greasy.
1% Vitamin A Retinol Serum
I've officially hit 30 and I need to be adding retinol back into my skincare routine more than I should so I've been adding the 1% Vitamin A Retinol serum into my nighttime skincare routine. This serum is designed to help target and firm fine lines and wrinkles whilst also helping to replenish the skin's barrier, rehydrates and helps prevent moisture loss. It's filled with 3% upcycled Kalahari melon seed oil and 2% upcycled raspberry seed oil. I use it twice a week in my evening skincare routine and have noticed a small improvement in my fine lines since I started using it.
Honey Halo Ceramide Moisturiser
I have always had really dry skin which only gets worse during the winter and I'd be hearing such rave reviews about the Honey Halo Ceramide moisturiser so I was completely over the moon when I opened the box and spotted this I was so excited to see how it improved my dry skin. It's an intense moisturiser that helps to replenish dry, distressed skin that keeps it hydrated all day. This Honey Halo moisturiser is filled with plant-based ceramides, buckwheat honey and sweet fig which help to provide optimal hydration and help protect your skin's moisture barrier. I've tried this as both my morning and nighttime moisturiser and in both instances it performs amazingly. I really love the packaging for this moisturiser, it comes with a metal spatula that is magnetised to the lid so you don't need to stick your fingers in the jar to get the product out. It does have a pretty strong honey smell but after a few minutes of being rubbed it, the scent completely disappears. I really love how nourished it leaves my skin feeling all day, it also leaves my skin glowing all day too.
