We all know that I'm a big fan of most of the body and skincare that comes from The Body Shop so I was over the moon when I got the chance to test out the Edelweiss range. It's been a little while now that I've been testing out the range from The Body shop and I thought it was about time that I talked through with you all how I got on with the range and any differences I noticed with my skin during this time.

Edelweiss Cleansing Concentrate
I am very picky when it comes to facial cleansers because I have dry skin, it's a careful balance of finding a good cleanser that can be used in my second cleanse and remove any residual makeup and impurities that doesn't completely strip my skin. Thankfully the Edelweiss Cleansing Concentrate doesn't foam up, it's more of a creamy style cleanser compared to the foaming style. It left my skin feeling clean without feeling squeaky clean and like I immediately need to apply moisturiser. Compared to other cleansers I've tried I've found that the Edelweiss cleanser doesn't react with my sensitive skin on my cheeks which is a big bonus for me. I really like the subtle scent that the Edelweiss range, it's not too in your face or irritable which is perfect if you don't really get along with fragrance in your skincare products.
Edelweiss Daily Serum Concentrate
The Edelweiss Daily Serum Concentrate has been my most used product of the range since it arrived on my doorstep. I love that it's such a lightweight, fast absorbing serum that literally melts into your skin and doesn't leave it feeling tacky. I found this serum super hydrating and a great base before my makeup because it helps hydrate and plump my skin whilst also helping to smooth fine lines. A little of this Edelweiss serum goes a long way so you only need to use it sparingly. When looking at the texture, this serum is more of a jelly like texture which stops it immediately dripping everywhere but as soon as you start massaging it into your skin, it becomes watery so that it easily absorbs into your skin. Because it transforms into more liquidy serum, a little of it goes a long. I've been using this facial serum morning and night for a little over two months now and it's only just gotten below the top of the label so it really will last you.
Edelweiss Eye Serum Concentrate
For being as skincare obsessed as I am, this is the first time that I've tried an eye serum concentrate, I'm used to the more traditional style eye creams. This Edelweiss Eye Serum Concentrate is perfect for me as it's designed to target fine lines around your eyes which is something I've been genetically blessed with since I've been a teenager. Similarly to the facial serum, this eye serum has a jelly like texture that melts into water so you really only need the tiniest of bead of eye serum to do your whole eye area. I really like how my makeup applied on top of this eye serum, I found that prior to using this eye serum my makeup used to catch on any dry points around my eyes but since adding this into my routine, it's really helped to tackle that issue and my concealer looks amazing over the top.
Edelweiss Intense Smoothing Cream
I'm a huge fan of the Edelweiss range packaging revamp, the Intense Smoothing Cream comes in a glass jar with a metal lid with a plastic insert that helps prevent air and bacteria getting in the product once open. I'm about half way through this moisturiser now and have been really liking how my skin looks when I've been applying it. This moisturiser is an intensely rich cream so it's perfect for my dry skin type cause it really injects my skin with moisture whilst also helping to improve the texture particularly around my breakout prone areas. I really loved that the Intense Smoothing cream is such a rich but lightweight cream so it doesn't weight your skin or make you feel like you're wearing a mask. Again this moisturiser left my skin with a beautiful silky, soft base that is perfect for applying my makeup over the top. For £28 for a 50ml jar, it's a really good price because it feels like such a luxurious moisturiser and the jar really does last you.
