My word when this shampoo and conditioner arrived on my doorstep from Bedhead, I felt like I'd literally gone back in time to my teenage years cause it's been that long since I've used them. I was very excited to see the huge 600ml bottles of the Recovery Moisture Rush shampoo, I swear these bottles are gonna last me like a year. I've been testing them out for a little while now so it's about time I shared my experience with you all.
Recovery Moisture Rush Shampoo & Conditioner
The Bedhead Recovery range is designed to give dry hair a rush of hydration, packed full of nourishing ingredients it helps to hydrate, deeply cleanse and soften dry hair. I've been using both the shampoo and conditioner for a little while now and whilst it feels like I've barely made a dent in the huge 400ml containers, I've really enjoyed the formula and how it's made my hair feel.
I've been using the Recovery Moisture Rush shampoo and conditioner to double cleanse my scalp and then using the conditioner as a mini leave-in treatment whilst I'm having a shower to put some moisture back into the ends of my hair. Because I highlight twice a year and tone my hair monthly, it is more on the drier side and I will usually feel this when I'm shampooing my hair. I generally find as I'm washing out the first lot of shampoo thats when it feels more dry and straw like. Thankfully with the Moisture Rich range, I've never found this to happen and my roots stay hydrated and actually feel soft instead of like straw. While the conditioner is designed to be an applied and washed out style of conditioner, I actually leave mine whilst I do the rest of my shower then wash it out and it leaves my hair feeling super soft and smelling amazing.
As someone who has struggled with badly designed hair care bottles and is currently suffering with one of my hands not working to 100%, I really like that the Bedhead 600ml bottles are super easy to use. They have a sports bottle top and the actual bottle is really easy to squeeze which is a huge design plus. I really like the fresh, citrusy scent that both the shampoo and conditioner have to them, the shampoo being slightly stronger in scent than the conditioner.
