I'm so excited because one of my pinch me dream brands got in touch with me recently about testing out their newly launched ExaSoothe range and sharing my thoughts with you all. I've only just recently started testing out the range so I thought I was talk you through my first impressions then I'm planning on sharing a full in-depth review at a later time for you all.

For those of you that weren't aware Murad officially launched their ExaSoothe range on the 6th April and it's designed specifically to treat those out there with extreme dryness and irritation as well as those with eczema-prone skin. The range is currently a quick and easy 3-step routine containing a cleanser, moisture treatment and moisturiser. I really love that when Murad kindly sent me this routine to test out, including in the package was the full INCI list which is especially important if you are sensitive to certain ingredients in skincare products.

Soothing Oat & Peptide Cleanser
First up is the Soothing Oat & Peptide Cleanser which has been formulated to cleanse your skin without stripping or over-drying. It's a creamy, gentle cleanser that has a unique blend of ingredients to treat, repair and protect your skin. It's filled with micellar cleansing peptides which help to give you gentle yet powerful cleansing whilst the oat extract is rich in antioxidants to help soothe your skin and the sugar complex included in the formula helps to give your skin hydration even once it's washed off. I love that they've also included sustainably sourced squalane and shea butter to help strengthen your skin's barrier.

Because I have really dry skin, I am a big fan of creamy cleansers for my skin as I really don't like that tight, stripped feeling like I need to immediately apply moisturiser after I've washed my face. I like using it as the second step in my double cleansing routine and at the moment it's working perfectly for me. I really like that the Soothing Oat & Peptide Cleanser doesn't have a scent at all so if you're sensitive to fragrances in your skincare, you're safe with this one. It's £42 for a 200ml container, so far I've been using it morning and night since it launched at the beginning of April and it genuinely looks like I've barely touched it.

Quick Relief Moisture Treatment
I like to think of the Quick Relief Moisture Treatment as my rescue treatment for my skin when it's get really really dry. This treatment is designed to instantly soothe and calms your skin whilst also relieving itching and discomfort. It's got 5.0% colloidal oatmeal, ground cherry blend and oat lipids which help to relieve minor skin irritation and itching whilst also helping to hydrate, replenish and help fortify your skin's lipid barrier.

At the minute, I seem to be getting really dry, irritated patches of skin around my chin that just doesn't want to respond to the usual treatments so this Quick Relief Moisture Treatment has been a god sent as you can pop a thin layer of this onto the affected areas up to three times a day. It's £46 for a 50ml container but I've only needed to pop a thin layer on the affected areas around my chin morning and night so it really is lasting. This moisture treatment comes out with more of a balm texture but it literally starts melting into your skin as soon as you start massaging it in. I prefer to cleanse my face then pop this moisture treatment on the really dry points of my face then a hydrating serum all over then leave it a few minutes for them both to fully absorb before applying my moisturiser. I won't lie I have also been using this moisture treatment on my hands as well because with all the hand washing and hand sanitiser I tend to get dry skin and cracking on my knuckles.

Daily Defense Cream
Lastly is the Daily Defense Cream which is designed to be your daily moisturiser to help protect your skin dryness and sensitivity flare-ups. It is filled with 1.0% colloidal oatmeal, mondo grass sugars, niacinamide and fatty acids from shea butter which all help to alleviate itching and discomfort whilst also helping to soften, hydrate and protect your skin whilst also helping to strengthen your skin's barrier to help minimise flare ups.

This moisturiser is like no other moisturiser that I've tried, similarly to the moisture treatment it is a thicker balm texture and is safe enough to be used not only on your face but also around your eyes. Because it's a thicker balm texture it feels so nourishing when you apply it to your skin and I've noticed that I really love applying it of an evening to lock in all my serums and hydration. I've also tried out this Daily Defense Cream out during the day and it sits beautifully under makeup without pilling or making my makeup separate. It's £54 for 50ml jar that comes with an airless pump which is amazing because I really dislike dipping my fingers into jars to minimise bacteria getting into the product.

I'm going to be putting this range to the test for the rest of the month and I'm making sure to take progress pics as the month goes along so that I can give you all a full review.
