Recently the lovely folks at Dermalogica have been kind enough to send me all of their latest skincare launches and boy have they blown it out of the park with their latest launches. They've got everything from new cleansers, to SPF's and breakout treatments and skin repairing creams and I thought I would do a little round up post sharing my initial thoughts on them all in one post.
Micellar Prebiotic Precleanse
The Dermalogica Precleanse has been one of my favourite makeup removers so when they launched the Micellar Prebiotic Precleanse, I was so excited to give this version a try. This version of the Precleanse is a milky version that helps to lift away dirt, oils and remove makeup whilst the prebiotics help to balance your skin. It's filled with Murumuru butter, oat milk, prebiotic blend, apricot kernel oil, and cotton seed protein which help to dissolve impurities, balance your skin's microbiome, deliver antioxidant benefits, and helping to reinforce the skin's moisture barrier. I love how this is a thicker, creamier texture and has a lighter scent compared to the original Precleanse. I'll definitely be switching between the original and this Micellar Prebiotic version of the Precleanse cause it's so hard to choose between the two.
Oil To Foam Total Cleanser
I'm already a big fan of the Dermalogica's cleansers and they've recently launched the Oil To Foam Total Cleanser which is designed to start as an oil then transform into a foam cleanser that helps to remove makeup, SPF, and debris to give you healthier looking skin in one-step. It's filled with sea buckthorn oil, as well as lavender, orange, mandarin and grapefruit oils which makes it smell incredible and so calming and relaxing. This is perfect for travelling because it's like two steps in one and it removes my waterproof mascara without irritating my eyes and without leaving my skin feeling stripped or dry.
Porescreen
Dermalogica already have so many incredible SPF's that I didn't think they could do one better and release another one but they've surprised us with the Porescreen. This one is designed to not only protect your skin with SPF 40 but it's also designed to help support healthy looking pores with a blurring effect. It's quite a watery SPF compared to others but gives your skin such a lovely glow once blended into your skin. It's a really lightweight SPF, this one is a 100% mineral SPF with zinc oxide, squalene, green microalgae, niacinamide and vitamin E so if you don't like your skin feeling weighed down or feeling clogged, this would be the perfect SPF for you. It also comes in a compact 30ml container so it's perfect for travelling.
Deep Breakout Liquid Patch
I am a huge fan of the breakout colloid patches so when the Deep Breakout Liquid Patch arrived I was so excited to get testing it out and seeing if this could be a bit more eco-friendly whilst banishing my spots in the same way my colloid spot patches do. This treatment starts as a liquid but dries down to a patch to allow you to help soothe and clear your breakouts, plus it can be used from the first sign of a breakout. It is filled with 5% Colloidal Sulfur, 4% niacinamide, polylysine, and pomegranate extract which helps to rapidly clear breakouts, soothe your skin, fade previous breakout marks, help minimise oil. It has a really light scent that I really like and I've tried it a handful of times and so far I'm really liking how it helps with the redness and irritation I get with breakouts which in turn helps with the pain when they are like brand new.
Stabilizing Repair Cream
I feel like my skin really has been freaking out right now and with the changing of the seasons which really won't have helped but having the Stabilizing Repair Cream arrive at my door, it was like Dermalogica knew that my skin needed a helping hand and sent this at just the right time! This Stabilizing Repair Cream is designed to ultra-soothing and help calm your skin straight away with contact on your skin to help immediately comfort your skin and help it become more resilient over time. It's filled with resurrection plant, Tasmania lanceolota extract, boerhavia diffusa extract, and ceramide-building complex which helps to reduce redness and discomfort, nourish your skin and lock in moisture. I've been using this at night or on my no-makeup (and no meetings) days at work because it's more of a balm moisturiser and leaves a protective layer on my skin.
