New In | Dermalogica Biolumin-C Heat Aging Protector

It's that time of the month, it's time for another Dermalogica product launch! Recently they launched the Biolumin-C heat aging protector which is the perfect launch for all the beautiful sunny weather we've been having in the UK at the minute. This new launch makes the perfect addition to their already existing Biolumin-C range.

It's a daily moisturiser that is suitable for all skin types with SPF 50 to help defend your skin from signs of aging causing by UVA/UVB rays. It features a ThermaRadiance complex which contains Physalis and vitamin E to help defend your skin from visible signs of heat aging to help improve dull, dehydrated skin as well as uneven texture and tone, and fine lines and wrinkles. It has a nice hydrating formula with a blend of bisabolol, allantoin, safflower.

I don't know why I was so surprised at how thick the formula was, I think something in me thought it would be a thinner lotion style moisturiser. But as a dry skin girly, I much prefer thicker moisturisers as its probably psychological but I feel like they work better for my dry skin. It has a really nice, subtle citrus scent which is great if you're not a huge fan of scents in your skincare products plus once I've massaged it into my skin I then can't even smell anything. I even tried putting it onto the back of my hand and legit put my hand touching my nose and I'm not able to smell it within 1-2 minutes of being massaged into my skin. Now I didn't believe how glowy this moisturiser would be, I put it on one cheek and was shocked at the glow it instantly gave my skin and on the first day that I tried it, I ended up going out makeup-free and I got so many compliments on how glowy and hydrated my skin got which is a huge bonus for me cause with having a bad fibro flare up for the last 6 weeks, my skin has most definitely felt very dull.

This moisturiser is currently priced at £79 for 50ml tube with a lockable pump, you can also get a travel sized 15ml tube for £24. I really like the lockable function because of the amount of times I drop my products with my awful hands and pain so this is perfect cause I can lock it in between uses so if I knock it off the side or drop it, I don't have to worry about wasting half the product onto the floor.
