I can't believe that we're already at the end of July and that summer is almost over, won't lie I am really excited for my two favourite seasons! With the end of one month, it's time to let you a few of the things that I've been loving during July.
L'Occitane Immortelle Reset Eye Serum
I've been reaching for this eye serum more and more over the last month, it's been a god send. I've noticed that at the beginning of July, the skin around my eyes became dry and irritated. Thankfully the L'Occitane Immortelle Reset eye serum has been such a life saver and has gotten my skin back into such a good condition. I love how it has golden bubbles of Immortelle Oil extract suspended in the serum that melts into the skin around your eyes. I always find that my eye makeup always lies beautifully on top of this eye serum.
Sunday Riley U.F.O. Oil
I don't know if it's my anxiety, stress of a new job or hormones making my skin freaking out but my skin has been so prone to breakouts this month so I've been using the Sunday Riley U.F.O. Oil on a regular basis everyday. This facial oil is a fast-drying oil that helps with congested pores, treat and prevent acne, as well as helping with fine line and wrinkles. I really love that this facial oil is harsh on breakouts and congested pores without stripping or drying out my already dry skin.
Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Retinol Serum
I've officially hit my 30's this year so it's time to start adding retinol into my skincare routine on a more consistent basis. Thankfully the Dynamic Skin Retinol serum is gentle enough to be used every night, this month I've been slowly adding it into my night time skincare routine 4 times a week during July without any sensitivity to it and it helps me to tackle my fine lines and improve my overall skin tone.
Murad Quick Relief Moisture Treatment
With all the breakouts and congestion my skin has had this month, it's just overall freaked out and become more dry and irritated so I've been adding in the Quick Relief Moisture Treatment to the areas of my face that's needed it most. I remember when this first arrived I thought this treatment was going to be a thicker balm texture but this melts straight into your skin and then leaves your skin feeling like you've locked in moisture with a balm so any really dry or irritated areas have the skin damped, then hyaluronic acid applied and this treatment put over the top to really lock the moisture in.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm
With my dry skin, I'm definitely more of cleansing balm or cleansing oil so it was about time till I was introduced to the iconic Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm which is loved by so many, I had a miniature version of this and absolutely loved it so of course I had to get the full size of this. I really do love the scent of this cleansing balm, it really helps me to unwind and relax for the evening and I've been using this as my first cleanse even on the days that I've not been wearing makeup.
ESPA Optimal Skin Pro-Moisturiser
I got this ESPA Optimal Skin Pro-Moisturiser in a Cohorted box a little while back and I've found that over the last week I've been reaching for this moisturiser on a daily basis. It's a lightweight moisturiser thats designed to give you hydrated and glowy skin, it's filled with Navarra asparagus extract and South African resurrection plant. I love the glow this gives to your skin and it even leaves my dry skin feeling lovely and hydrated. I've been reaching for this moisturiser even on my makeup free days as it leaves my skin looking gorgeous without any makeup on!
Urban Decay All Nighter Vitamin C Setting Spray
I've been a big fan of the Urban Decay setting sprays, pretty much since I've been into makeup but recently they've launched the Vitamin C version of their iconic setting spray which sets your makeup down whilst leaving the most beautiful glow to you skin. This version has vitamin C and cactus flower extract in which helps stop your makeup from moving around all day with a beautiful lit from within glow, I also accidentally found that this also gave my collarbone a really nice glow when I spritz'd it all over my face & it went onto my collarbones. I really like the light citrus scent this has to it and in the heat wave weather we've been having it actually made my makeup last all day even when I was a sweaty mess in the hotter weather we had at the end of June/beginning of July.
What have you been loving this month?
