It's quickly coming to my favourite time of year....Christmas! Not going to lie, I may have already started thinking up some ideas for Christmas presents for my loved ones. Thankfully a lot of my favourite people in my life are animal lovers and during my scour for presents for the animal lovers in my life, I've found the website The Little Dog Laughed which has everything from animal themed gift cards to home ware and gifts for your furry friends.

The Little Dog Laughed
The Little Dog Laughed was founded by three wonderful women Anna, Jo, and Daisy and inspired the gorgeous dog Jack who provided the ideas and humour that Anna then made into life through her illustrations. From three amazing women, the Little Dog Laughed team has just grown and grown. Over two decades, The Little Dog Laughed's goal has always been to design nice things that add a smile to someone's day. You can find their products on their website but also in various independent gift shops and garden centres throughout the UK as well as in Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia and Asia.
Whilst I was having a mooch through the Little Dog Laughed website I tried to select a good variety of gifts that would allow you to see what variety they offer on their website but also allow me to get the gifts I needed for the people in my life. I am a big fan of giving cards that one have funny slogans on them but that also match the person (or their pets) that I'm giving it too. I spent WAY too long looking through the greeting cards section of the Little Dog Laughed website (and may have gotten trapped again in the Christmas cards section whilst I was writing this blog post). I loved this Black & White Sprocker card cause it was just too cute and I already can't decide who to give it too cause there's so many people that it would be perfect for, I think I'm gonna need to go purchase some more. I've already got my eyes on quite a few of their animal themed Christmas cards to give to my friends and family this year.

For The Pets
Of course I couldn't go to the Little Dog Laughed without picking up a little something for Rosie so I had to pick up the Pink Designer Dog Lead. This dog lead is made from soft touch polyester rope with leather finishings and burnished brass attachments. Rosie is known for getting so dirty with mud on walks so I love that the rope on this Designer Dog Lead is washable so I can clean off all the dirt and it looks brand new. I really like these rope style leads for my dogs, one cause they're super easy to wrap around you cross body style then clip onto the handle meaning I don't have to worry about putting the lead down somewhere and loosing it but also the dogs I've had seem to destroy those retractable style leads super easily so these rope style leads are perfect because they get a little bit of stretch then when they walk back to heel, it goes back to normal length. Every Christmas Rosie of course gets some presents of her own to unwrap (if you haven't witnessed the incredible cuteness that is dogs unwrapping their own presents then you must do it immediately!) so I think this year she's gonna have to get the matching pink rope collar to match this lead cause it looks too cute on her and we've already gotten such great use from this pink Designer Dog Lead.

For The Stationary Lovers
We all know someone in our life that is obsessed with cute stationary (that may or may not be me!), thankfully the Little Dog Laughed have got us covered with their adorable collection of stationary. They've got everything from wall calendars and diaries for 2023 to bookmarks and a variety of notebooks and notepads. I am a major list maker mainly because outside of work I have a memory like a sieve so if I don't write it down somewhere I completely forget it (You wouldn't believe the amount of random notes I've got in my phone). This Black Cat Magnetic Notepad was just too cute for me to leave behind and it also makes the cutest little stocking stuffer and at only £5 it's perfect for a secret santa present. This notepad is designed and made within the UK, on forestry suitable paper using vegan based inks. I love that this notepad has little magnetic strips on the back so it's perfect for sticking on the fridge so it's there for making lists, jotting things down while you're on the phone or for leaving little notes before you're running out the door.

For The Self Care Lovers
We all have somebody in our lives that loves a bit of self care and we all have people that go above and beyond to make Christmas a special time for everyone so Christmas is the perfect time to gift them an Aromatherapy Scented Candle to give them something to relax them and allow them to practise a bit of self care during a time that can be stressful for some. I had to pick up the Aery Dream Catcher Candle which is a pure soy candle filled with lavender, patchouli, and orange. I find it such a relaxing scent and I've actually been using it in the evening as I wind down for bed, doing my skincare routine then reading with a cup of tea before bed (yes I am an old lady, I'm fully aware). I always think that candles are such an easy but great gift idea because I don't know anyone that doesn't like candles/home fragrances and you can make it as personalised as you want. The Little Dog Laughed have got a great selection of candles and home fragrances including gift sets including miniature versions of the candles which are perfect if you aren't 100% sure which one to get.

Have you got an animal lover in your life?
