Could you really pass up spending the evening on a rooftop bar with gorgeous views of the Liverpool waterfront, cocktails and some friends?! The Goodness Gracious rooftop garden is now open at Oh Me Oh My in Liverpool and it's about time I brought you guys along to check it out.

The Goodness Gracious rooftop garden recently opened for the summer on the 8th floor of the West Africa house which if you didn't know that's just opposite the Liver Building on the strand and is what houses Oh Me Oh My on the ground floor. It's an open air rooftop bar with stunning views of the Liverpool waterfront and is open every day from 12pm from now until September (weather allowing).

In this gorgeous sunny weather we've been having, the Goodness Gracious is the perfect little sun trap to escape from the busy city. When we went it was gorgeous and sunny then did go a little bit chilly when the sun went down so just be mindful of the chill of the evening in case you'd prefer to bring a coat or shawl with you to wrap up a little bit if you're there late. The big difference between the Goodness Gracious rooftop bar its a payment-free bar on the 8th floor so you buy your tokens on the ground floor before you head upstairs then use those tokens for your drinks whilst you're on the rooftop bar.

I can confirm that the passionfruit spritz cocktails are so delicious and refreshing but also dangerous because they don't taste like alcohol at all, they are definitely my favourite drink I tried while I was there. The bar doesn't have a huge menu but they do have a limited number of cocktails and spritz's as well as some spirits, beers and alcoholic drinks for you to choose from. There is enough of a choice that there's enough for everyone to find something they love. I went along to the rooftop launch with one of my closest friends and we had such a lovely time. There was plenty of places to sit either just with your party or in the shared seating areas, it all depends how social you want to be. I do love the Goodness Gracious rooftop garden, the only thing I wasn't a huge fan of is the token system and the having to go up and down to buy the tokens you need. I do wish they had one of those contactless card machines to make things a lot easier as you need different amounts of tokens for different drinks.

Where's your favourite rooftop bar?

Speak to you next time!
