I had the pleasure recently to head back into Flannels recently to go along to a launch masterclass with the lovely folks at Kylie Cosmetics as they've recently launched a host of products including fragrances, power foundations, plumping powder lip, skin tints and lip butters. It was so lovely seeing the beauty bar all decked out in beautiful flowers and a bunch of shades in the new Kylie products.
I was really excited to see the new launches from Kylie as it had been quite a while since I headed along to their counter. The lovely folks at the Kylie counter welcomed us in with drinks while everyone was arriving and we were able to look at the various products that were laid out on the beauty bar. Once everyone had arrived, we were introduced to the new products one by one, shown how we can use them but also colour matched to base products and helped us find the best shades for our skin tones with the likes to the lip products. The new toasted marshmallow lip butter smells delicious and has a sheer brown shade. We all got to try this on the day and I loved how nourishing these lip butters are and as a thin lip girly, this helped my lips look slightly plumper.
I was instantly drawn to the new natural blur powder foundation which comes in a pretty compact including a great sized mirror which is perfect if you need to do touch up's on the go. I normally have quite dry skin so it's been a little while since I last used powder foundation and we're about to go into the warm weather where it's going to be too hot to want to have a full face of foundation on. I was surprised that they actually had shades pale enough for me. They currently have 30 shades on offer going all the way from light all the way to deep. These are designed to be a buildable coverage, talc-free and breathable so they're going to be perfect for all the warm weather this summer.
As well as having all the info about the new products that have came to Kylie Cosmetics, we also got a little surprise GHD masterclass showing how to use the blowdry brush to give you the perfect curly bangs and how quick and easy it was to do it at home without being super skilled hair stylish. The wonderful Josh is so kind and funny so it was the perfect little add on to the Kylie masterclass as the GHD counter is just around the corner from Kylie in Flannels.
