I am all having a makeup routine that works for me and my current routine consists a variety of price points with the main focus with each is that the products work for me rather than focusing on the latest product trends. Recently, I got the chance to head along to the Gucci Beauty counter in Flannels Liverpool because they'd recently launched the Eternite de Beaute 24hr breathable foundation so I had to nip in to try it out.
The Eternite de Beaute Foundation
The Gucci Eternite de Beaute Foundation was recently launched and was designed to stay on all day, no matter how chaotic your day may be. It's designed to long-lasting with a luminous-matte finish that you can build up to a full coverage finish whilst also being lightweight, breathable and comfortable to wear all day and it also comes in 40 different shades. This new foundation is filled with hyaluronic acid and black rose oil to help boost your skins hydration levels to keep it feeling comfortable to wear all day, it also contains bamboo powder to help control shine all day.
My Experiences
The lovely Lynsey invited me in to test out the new Gucci foundation as I'd previously tried out the last Gucci foundation and found that it didn't quite work for my dry skin, where as this new Eternite de Beaute all revolves around giving you that luminous-matte finish that feels weightless and breathable all day.
So we started by creating a base with the Serum de Beaute Silk Primer Serum which works amazing for my dry skin, I've tried this primer alongside a variety of foundations at a variety of different price points and because its more of a hydrating serum primer, it leaves my skin hydrated throughout the course of the day without my makeup separating or rubbing off as I'm touching my skin throughout the day. Lynsey put the new foundation on half of my face first so I could see and feel the difference in my skin. I couldn't believe how easy it was to get a medium to full coverage finish that didn't feel like I was wearing an actual mask on my face. I have filmed my face from the moment it was applied on my face around 10am till I took it off around 10pm. I will say with this foundation you do have to work in smaller sections to blend it into your face otherwise it can set down pretty quickly.
Before I left Lynsey did kindly give me a sample of the Eternite de Beaute foundation to do a trial wear tests before I come back and purchase the full size as my skin can be a bit hit and miss but this foundation and even the undertone worked perfectly for me so I'll definitely be heading back to pick that up once I've used up the sample. I've been loving the packaging that the Gucci lipsticks are housed in, they literally remind me of vintage, great Gatsby vibe. Whilst I was at the counter, I decided to go for a very me colour from the satin range, 202 Moira Sienna a deep raspberry pink shade. I also of course had to pick up the Khol liner in Amethyste that Lynsey used on me in the look because it was just beautiful and really made my hazel eyes pop.
