If you've been living under a rock and haven't noticed, Gucci has opened its very own beauty counter in the new Flannels in Liverpool. The lovely Lynsey kindly invited in to the counter for a little masterclass on the new Beaute Des Yeux eyeshadow palette and the new Baume a Levres tinted lip balms.
Recently Gucci Beauty have released a new eyeshadow palette and some stunning tinted lip balms and I was really pleased to be invited in to the counter in Flannels Liverpool for their masterclass all about the new products and actually see what they look like being used and try a little for myself. Flannels has some beautiful counters for masterclasses whether you're coming for a smaller one or using the big beauty bar.
The Beaute Des Yeux eyeshadow palette has 12 different shades that can either be used in little quads of four to compliment or you can get creative and simply pick and mix shades to get your perfect eye look. It comes complete with 6 matte shades, 3 metallic shades, and 3 satin shades. I really liked that Gucci recommend that the eyeshadows can be used as eyeliners as well as some of the shades being used on your face and lips. It's designed with all skin tones in mind. I love that you can also take out in the inner palette and use it for storage or as a keepsake, perfect for travelling with jewellery. Lynsey did a beautiful neutral look with a touch of shimmer on the lid with a soft bit of eyeliner which just looked incredible and a perfect for this change over of seasons.
Gucci Beauty has these gorgeous collection of tinted lip balms, the Baume a Levres. These moisture rich lip balms give you a nice subtle flush of colour whilst also giving your lips some much needed hydration and nourishment. The collection of shades are inspired by iconic Hollywood films and characters from the gilded era. Whilst they are tinted lip balms, they're also designed to be also used on your cheeks for a light flush of colour. I decided to go for the shade Ester Rosewood which is a gorgeous mauve pink colour which is always the shades I tend to go for so it's perfect for me year round but it looks particularly pretty at this time of year as things start to get colder.
I had such a lovely time at the Gucci Beauty masterclass and I love that Flannels Liverpool are regularly having little beauty masterclasses with the different brands that they host on their beauty floor so if you're interested in trying out a brand you've never tried before then you can pop by the masterclasses first.
