It's been a month since I last headed into Harrods Beauty for the Charlotte Tilbury counter and recently they had their first of many masterclass, I headed along to check out new products and get some handy hints and tips to try out when it comes to doing my makeup. I brought along my sister Amber because she's my emotional support human with my anxiety/PTSD and also she's getting into beauty and skincare so I thought it would give her some handy tips for doing makeup and skincare and help her find out about the order for doing them and what we use them for.

In Harrods Beauty, they have a private room for the masterclasses which is perfect cause you don't have to worry about all the background noise when you're trying to listen to the masterclass. As you can imagine, the first masterclass was full to burst and everyone was great with interacting with the makeup artist. The masterclass was all around getting a beautiful base with your skincare and then doing a beautiful glowy makeup look with some of the newer products. There was a mixed range of ages at the masterclass so the makeup artist was amazing in showing how you can make the products work and any other products that would work depending on your skin type and skin concerns.

I'm already a huge fan of the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream and they've recently re-invented the formula to help with the 10 signs of ageing and helps improve the look of your skin within 28 seconds of application. It now contains the recoverstem peptide which is an ingredient that is only in their magic cream! As a dry skin girly, I love the magic cream as either an intensive moisturiser or as a base before makeup so I really intrigued to try out the new formula and see how it compared.
Whilst we were at Harrods Beauty Chester for the masterclass, I got the chance to have a beauty service afterwards to try out the skincare and let them do whatever makeup they fancied, I like giving them free will with the makeup cause it encourages me to try out things that I previously might not have gone for. We ended up doing a really nice glowy look with the new hydrating foundation stick and matching coral blush with a stunning neutral eye from the pillow talk palette and the matching pillow talk lip with plenty of lip oil. I am completely obsessed with how the look turned out and I picked myself up a couple of bits to try out at home to recreate this look.
The masterclass was great, we both found it so informative and helped us both learn some tips and tricks. The Chester Charlotte Tilbury counter are currently doing the masterclasses once a month with different themes and I highly recommend them for everyone whether you're a dab hand at makeup or complete new to it. Don't forget you can also book your own service either free or redeemable on products via the counter or the Charlotte Tilbury website.
