It's been a little while since I've been to Flannels Liverpool for a Kylie Cosmetics masterclass and the wonderful people at the counter recently had one for the launch of the Power Plush Longwear Concealer. I was very intrigued about this concealer because it has 40 shades available (including shades that are pale enough for me!) so I headed along to see what it was like and get colour matched to test out it out at home for myself.
Power Plush Longwear Concealer
Recently Kylie Cosmetics have launched their Power Plush Longwear Concealer, the entire range has 40 shades that come in a range of cool, neutral and warm undertones which I absolutely love cause being milk bottle pale, I have struggled so much with base makeup because for ages as brands have only ever made pale shades in one particular undertone (usually a yellow based one) so even the palest shade would look too dark for me. This new Kylie concealer is designed to be a weightless and buildable medium coverage concealer that is supposed to brighten, blur, and smooth your skin with a satin finish. It is supposed to last for up to 12 hours and the various shades can be used to conceal, bronze and contour.
For this masterclass we had the wonderful Josh talking us through a beautiful makeup look centring around the Power Plush Longwear Concealer. Throughout the masterclass Josh and Shannon were incredible with talking us through the different products that Josh was using and also bringing them round so we could test them ourselves. I really liked how Josh used several different shades for concealer, bronzing and contour, it really showed how you can use these concealers in several different ways and also showed how lovely the formula is. I ended up coming away with the shade 1C and I really like the small doe foot applicator cause you can really get into any areas of your face with this concealer. Having dry skin, I prefer to have a more creamy concealer and this Power Plush Concealer gives you 8hr hydration. I'm excited to be road testing this concealer and I'll be sure to come back with a proper review once I've properly tested it.
Whilst I was there, I also picked up a couple of bits that I had my eye on for a little while. During the masterclass they showed some of the eyeshadow palettes and I ended up coming home with the Mauve palette because it's the perfect combo of mattes and beautiful shimmer shades, just right for this time of year. I did also come away with the pressed highlighter in Cheers Darling and the matte liquid lipstick in Boujee because they just looked too good to not leave with. Plus the gold highlighter and berry red liquid lipstick are also perfect for the festive season.
