Always Always Always a Bridesmaid -

I got the greatest honour this weekend, the chance to be a bridesmaid at my best friend's wedding!

I had such an amazing time being bridesmaid for the first time, it made it even more special that my first time being a bridesmaid was for my best friend that I've known for 10 years. I honestly had no idea what being a bridesmaid entailed, but it was one of the best days ever. On top of that I got to see two of my best friends get married to each other, the person that was just made for them!

I remember right back to the day I was on my break at work getting a phone call from the bride in the toilet on her first date at the cinemas, I remember her telling me what an amazing woman she was and how she was falling for her. I remember being told that she was about to be proposed to, buying prosecco and attempting to find plastic glasses in the smallest Tesco ever.

I never thought I'd see the day I would see her in a long white dress and she has never looked more gorgeous! Even though I promised myself I would not cry, seeing her standing across from her soul mate at the ceremony and seeing the look of love and happiness in her wife's eyes I bawled my eyes out. Yes I had several tear marks down my face that I then had to artfully cover.

The wedding reception was so much fun, getting to know everyone from down south that had come up especially for the wedding. Playing on the bouncy castle, the cutting of the cake and dancing into the early hours of the morning until my very tired feet were giving up. It was such a fun night and I wouldn't have it any other way!
