If you have been living under a rock for the past few months, the Eurovision has come to Liverpool and the lovely people at Bill's in Liverpool One have got your food choices sorted with their new Euromania menu launch. I kindly got the chance to head into Bill's early to try it all for myself and it's time to share what I thought with you all.
This was the first time ever trying food at Bill's and after this visit, I'm definitely going to have to head back, especially trying out the brunch menu. When we arrived, we were kindly welcomed in by Laneisha and given the custom Eurovision themed cocktail, the Club Tropicana which is a combination of Wyborowa vodka and melon liqueur to enjoy while we waited for everyone to arrive. I will say the interior and the staff in Bill's Liverpool are so friendly and inviting.
When we first sat down at the table, we all got the chance to have a chat with one another and enjoy our cocktails while they kindly brought out a variety of small plates and starters for us all to try out. I can confirm the halloumi fries were absolutely delicious and I will be going back and getting them again. The main course was their Cheesy Disco Burger which was topped with cheesy truffle fondue and served with rosemary fries. This dish was amazing, it arrived with a gold bun and the plates was sprayed with edible glitter in different colours for the Eurovision. I really liked this main, the way the burger was cooked gave it such a delicious taste and the cheese fondue just made it taste 10x better! Be warned you will end up with edible glitter on you somewhere eating this, I ended up putting blue edible glitter on my cheek.
Before we had dinner, we did have the chance to do a Eurovision themed quiz that Laneisha put together for us all. Turns out I don't know as much as I thought I did about Eurovision! To finish off the menu, they brought out the Glitterball Finale which was the most delicious dessert. We thought we were stuffed then they brought this out and suddenly we were hungry to dessert. This dessert is a melting ball of chocolate, brownie, vanilla ice cream and biscuit with a warmed salted caramel sauce to drizzle over the top.
All in all this menu was delicious and Bill's in Liverpool One is definitely worth a visit if you're coming into Liverpool to join in all the Eurovision activities. I'm going to have to head back to Bill's to try the rest of their menu!
