New In | Dermalogica Magnetic Afterglow Cleanser

It's always a good day when I get a Dermalogica delivery and I had an exciting delivery of a new cleanser, the Magnetic Afterglow cleanser. I was really excited for this delivery as I've never heard of a cleanser quite like it and with having a dry skin, I'm all for anything that's going to help bring more hydration into my skin.

The Magnetic Afterglow cleanser is designed to help soften your skin, gentle wash away impurities, attract moisture into your skin to help you retain moisture to give you glowing skin. This cleanser uses positively-charged hyaluronic acid which acts like a magnet to help your skin retain moisture and preparing it for the next steps in your skincare routine. The cellular hydrabond technology is what the positively charged hyaluronic acids are in and what helps you to retain moisture but it also contains murumuru and oat which helps to gently cleanse your skin and the phyto mucin blend that contains lotus root extract and 10% glycerin which helps to act like a magnet attracting the moisture.

I really like that this cleanser has a fresh, citrusy scent so I've been loving using them during the morning cause it helps me to wake up in the morning. The cleanser has a thicker texture and doesn't massage out to a foamy cleanser, it's more of a creamy cleanser texture. As I've got more drier skin, I've noticed that my skin does feel softer and I notice that it leaves my skin with a lovely glow immediately after using it so I'm excited to see the difference it makes with continued use. It also doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped or dry but still leaves my skin feeling clean. I love using this and then immediately applying Pro-Collagen Banking serum over the top to lock even more moisture in.

The Magnetic Afterglow cleanser is £49 for a 150ml bottle and £75 for a 295ml bottle so like all the Dermalogica skincare, it is an investment but it definitely worth it especially for me with chronically dry skin, I do notice a difference in my skin when I use their products. I also do rotate it into my cleansing routine with different bransd cleansers to help the investment go further.
