Event | Switch CoffeeBar Launch

I'm a big fan of mocktails and I'm also a huge fan of coffee so when the lovely folks at Propel PR got in touch inviting me along to the launch night for Switch Coffee Bar, you know that my answer was immediately yes and of course I brought one of my closest friends with me because she is also a fellow coffee addict. I love that this isn't your typical coffee shop, it's designed to be a coffee shop by day and a a cocktail bar by night.

The folks who created Switch CoffeeBar wanted to create a location that caters to every mood, whether you need a pick me up before a busy day, somewhere for an afternoon meeting or catch up on emails, or if you need somewhere to go for after work drinks. It's the perfect catch all. Their coffees and cocktails feature Dead Good coffee which promotes ethical farming and eco-friendly practices. I can confirm that it is really good coffee. As a dog owner myself and an anxious girly, I love that they're dog-friendly during the day which is perfect cause Rosie never likes staying outside if I need to nip in for a coffee so I love that I can bring her in with me whilst I pick up my coffee fix.

Myself and Steph are very big coffee fans so Switch is right up out street, either to catch up for coffee, sitting and working with our laptops or meeting her wife for after work cocktails. Switch CoffeeBar is located in Wolstenholme Square in Liverpool, it's right next to Duke Street and Liverpool One so it's very easy to get too.

On the launch night, we were welcomed into Switch with our choice of cocktails from the menu. Of course, we had to go for the make your own espresso martini which you could literally choose everything from the alcohol (or alcohol-free vodka) you wanted, the caffeine, the cream, the flavour and the garnish. Pretty much everyone there was testing out the Espresso-MyTini cocktails and there were all sorts of creations made. I love this idea cause I've never seen any other bars do anything close to it. I ended up going for an alcohol-free espresso martini with no cream which was absolutely delicious. After trying the espresso martini's, I ended up trying the white Russian which was completely new to me and it was absolutely delicious, especially with the roasted marshmallows on top.

I'm absolutely loving Switch CoffeeBar, it's such an amazing addition to Liverpool city centre and I'll definitely be heading there for coffee or cocktails with the girls, or even for to work on my laptop during the day. Looking on their website, they've got some delicious pastries on offer during the day so it's looking even more likely that I'll be heading there for coffee and laptop days from now on.
