I recently got the chance to head along to the Invisible Wind Factory for their summer garden party, it's not my usual place I'd head along to but I thought I'd change things up and see what it was like and I was pleasantly surprised by the event, the location is such a fun hidden gem.
The Invisible Wind Factory is a former wind turbine factory on Regent Road Liverpool and the site is designed to be multi-purpose. It is also home to the rollerdome, substation, factory garden, factory kitchen, workshop and studios. They have everything from performances, car boot sales, terrace parties and different specials like halloween ones for you to attend.
When we went for their summer garden party, they had the rollerdome open, a live DJ performance, and incredible food for us! We had an incredible Caribbean chicken curry, rice and coleslaw from Eat Up Gud and considering I'm not a fan of curries, it was absolutely delicious. The rollerdome is such a fun date night or afternoon out with friends, they even had skates if you wanted to take your littles for some fun. Regardless of whether it's good or bad weather, the Invisible Wind Factory has an outdoor bar and seating area but there is also indoor seating and a bar in the rollerdome.
Although the day we went it was a proper wind trap despite the sunny weather, it was such a lovely venue and I can imagine how great a venue it'll be when there are performances on. It was such a lovely afternoon and it was such a unique spot on the outskirts of town.
