I've been to Nova Scotia in the docks now a few times and every time they just blow me away with how incredibly nice the staff are and how delicious the food is. Recently, I got the chance to head along to try out their brunch and I took along my friend and fellow influencer Lynsey so that we could have some delicious brunch and catch up on everything that's gone on in our life recently.

If you haven't been to Nova Scotia before, it's a few minutes walk from the James Street train station by the docks so it's so quick and easy to get too. Nova Scotia have separate menus for their brunch, lunch, evening, dessert, Sunday lunch, kids & drinks to make it nice and easy for you to find what you're looking for. As well offers on their drinks menu, they also have events like doggy brunches the second Saturday of every month, weekly pub quizzes every Wednesday where you can win £100 cash and the Sunday roast experience.

The Nova Scotia breakfast menu is spilt into pancakes, breakfasts, breakfast brioches and eggs. There is plenty to choose from even if you're looking for veggie or vegan options, they've got you covered or if you're a fussy eater like me, any of their dishes can be edited so if you don't like a certain ingredients (I'm not a huge fan of sausages & I also don't like bacon with chewy fat on it), they were totally accommodating to that and offered to switch it out for any different ingredients and they honestly couldn't have been nicer about the changes.

We decided to go for the banoffee pancakes to share, I got the wakey wakey, eggs and bakey with some changes and we also got the Avo Eggs. I can confirm that the banoffee pancakes are beyond amazing, we were both feeling so stuffed before we started nibbling on the pancakes and suddenly they were almost gone which just attests to how good they were. I do want to go back and try the two other pancakes they offer. The combination of bacon and hash browns with the maple syrup was absolutely incredible. I never really got what people meant about having the sweet and savoury combo but this was absolute chef's kiss but it is very messy so be warned, I spent the entire time trying not to have maple syrup dripping down my chin!

I can honestly say that Nova Scotia have some of the nicest staff in Liverpool, if you're ever having a tough day, Dom who works there is the kindest, warmest person you'll ever meet! He honestly made our day and went above and beyond with his service. I'll honestly go back again and again just for Dom's service. I always recommend Nova Scotia time and time again, I've been a fan of theirs for the last couple of years and honestly they just blow me away time and time again even when I've been in as a paying customer, they treat everyone the same and go the extra mile for everyone that comes in their doors and that includes the pooches too.
