I've been a huge fan of Dermalogica products and have been testing out their products over the past couple of years, so it's about time that I finally did a top picks blog post introducing you all to some of my all time favourite products from Dermalogica.

Pre Cleanse
This has and always will be my first love from Dermalogica, this stuff is literally like liquid gold in the skincare world! Pre Cleanse is an oil cleanser that just melts away any makeup, skincare, and impurities without stripping your skin or irritating it. I always wear waterproof mascara cause my lashes don't curl very easily, so one thing I used to hate was taking off my eye makeup because I have really sensitive eyes so I struggled with my eyes and the skin around my eyes literally stinging. This so far has been the only cleansing oil that melts away my waterproof mascara with the tiniest bit of rubbing and it doesn't irritate, sting or cloud my eyes with product. Whilst I love using this as the first step of my cleansing routine to melt away my makeup, I also use it as my first cleanse on my skincare only days to get all that skincare, spf, dirt and oils out of my skin so it's fresh for my cleanser to really get in there and work.

Daily Microfoliant
The Daily Microfoliant was one of the first Dermalogica products I used back when I was invited to be a Dermalogica Skinfluencer and honestly I know why it's got such a cult following, it's such an amazing product. The Daily Microfoliant is a rice based powder exfoliates that once activated with water, turns into either a paste or foam depending on how much water you add. It's designed to help you achieve brighter, smoother but gentle enough to be used every day. I love that it can be used as a paste or as I prefer to use it really foamed up (which is the way the Dermalogica skin therapists recommend to use it). I have also used it mixed into my facial cleanser (when I'm exhausted following a night shift) and used it to exfoliate my lips too. As someone with really dry skin, I love that it leaves my skin super soft and smooth without irritating my skin.

Breakout Clearing Booster
We all know by now that I suffer from maskne and breakouts far too often, so when I had my skin consultation with the Dermalogica skin therapists they kindly recommended me trying this Breakout Clearing Booster to help tackle my breakouts and honestly it's been a daily essential for me since I received it. It's filled with niacinamide, salicylic acid and phytoplankton extract in to help tackle breakout causing bacteria whilst helping to prevent over-dying. I love using the Breakout Clearing Booster as a morning and night spot treatment but it can also be used as an all over serum. I find that it not only helps fit breakouts, but it also soothes the skin around the breakout cause I find that that area tends to become really dry and sore.

Smart Response Serum
The Smart Response Serum is one of Dermalogica's latest launches and it's got such great technology behind it so I'm not surprised that it's not only my favourite but many others. The Smart Response Serum is literally a smart serum that recognises changes in your skin and delivers boosts to your skin depending what your skin needs. It hydrates, firms, brightens and soothes whenever your skin needs it most. I'm in the middle of filming some video content around this serum but so far I'm loving it. It's definitely an investment in your skincare but when it's doing the job of four different serums, I don't mind as much. So far I've definitely noticed it helping hydrate and soothe my skin, I'm excited to see how it improves my skin with long-term use.

Sound Sleep Cocoon
The Sound Sleep Cocoon has been an essential part of my night time routine cause not only does it help my skin look and feel amazing, but its also helped me to actually wind down and relax so I can get can a good nights sleep. It is one of Dermalogica's wonder products that not only leaves you with softer, more hydrated skin but it also focuses on promoting a deep, restful sleep to promote better looking skin. It's filled with French lavender oil, sandalwood and patchouli which helps relax your mind and body, whilst the Persian silk extract and Wu-Zhu-Ye extract help to reduce skin fatigue and give you radiant looking skin by the morning. I love that the Sound Sleep Cocoon has such a light gel texture so it's perfect for layering over my evening skincare routine without leaving my skin feeling weighed down and I always find that I wake up the next morning to glowing, radiant looking skin.

Melting Moisture Masque
I believe the Melting Moisture Masque is the latest Dermalogica launch and after trying it a handful of times it's already a new favourite of mine. I'm really loving these overnight face masques as I feel it really helps with my dry skin cause you're leaving it on all night rather than 10-15 minutes. The Melting Moisture Masque comes out as a balm but then melts into a oil once you start rubbing it into your skin and it's activated by your body's natural heat to penetrate deeper to truly nourish your skin overnight. I really love using this face masque when my skin is feeling particularly dry or I've been in work and in face masks quite a lot cause I find that it really nourishes my skin and I wake up looking like I haven't just spent the last couple of days with a face mask on for 13 hours.
