I haven't featured any fashion posts in a little while but recently I got the chance to try out some beautiful pieces from Lighthouse Clothing making it the perfect time to get back into them. They've helped me to update my wardrobe which is especially helpful for looking cute whilst walking Rosie down by the beach. Usually I spend time at the beach in workout clothes but I thought I'd update things and inject some more colour and prints into my wardrobe, leaving me looking stylish whether we have the sun or the the Spring showers.
Lighthouse Clothing
Lighthouse Clothing is all about helping you to look great and stay dry no matter what the weather is to help you celebrate the simple moments, live life a little slower, and treasure everyday adventures. Their coats are created in Northern Ireland and they want you to be able to have a practical coat without having to sacrifice your style. They have a range of products available for women, men and children in different colours and prints.
Living near the sea means that when I'm going for a dog walk, it's usually getting wrapped up in workout clothes and a very neutral coat cause whilst it may be sunny, it's very windy. Thankfully Lighthouse Clothing came at the perfect time to ask if I wanted to collaborate and they kindly sent across a selection of clothes that can have injected some much needed colour into my wardrobe.
They kindly sent me along one of their jackets, t-shirts, blouses and gilets for me to try out and I was so impressed with the quality. They looked even better in person than they did in the photos on the website. The Willow jacket is the perfect in-between coat during the hotter months as it's not insulated or padded so it's perfect for when we get those showers or colder moments between now and autumn. These are available from size 8 to size 20 and it comes in blue and red but they also have other jacket options in different lengths if you prefer another colour, I love the azure blue as it's such a beautiful pop of colour and it suits my pink hair perfectly. I struggle badly with overheating easily so this Willow jacket is amazing because it is made from a breathable material so it will help keep me cool as I'm walking around.
I did also pick up the Laurel gilet as I love wearing gilet's especially in the autumn winter. This one from Lighthouse Clothing is a lightweight gilet and also comes in seven colours so there's plenty of choice for mixing and matching with your wardrobe. I really like that this gilet is lightweight but it helps to take the chill off whether you're walking near the beach, going on the school runs or nipping out for errands or want something to warm you up during a cool summer evening. I've already got my eyes on a couple of different colours of the Laurel gilet.
For tops, I decided to try out the Causeway tee & Lola blouse, both of which are gorgeous and totally different from my usual choices for clothing. Both tops are printed, one being a light green which is not a colour that I normally go for but I thought it would go really nicely with the gilet and I was surprised by how much the light green actually suited me so I'm definitely going to have to add more of it to my wardrobe. The Causeway tee comes in five colours to choose from and is one of their best selling products that you can either use as a base layer or can be used as a stand alone piece. The Lola blouse is a stunning cream blouse with blue, pink, red and orange flowers on it. It does have a tie at the top of the neck so you can customise how you want to wear it, either fully tied up, loosely tied or completely untied like myself. The sleeve are 3/4 length sleeves which is great for me as I'm not a big fan of my upper arms.
I'm so impressed with the clothing I got from Lighthouse Clothing, they're all such great quality and I love that they've helped me to inject some much needed colour into my wardrobe this summer and they're going to be perfect for layering up when we transition into autumn.
