I've always really suffered with my lips being dry for as long as I can remember and for the past month I've been testing out the Hourglass Lip Treatment Oils and I just had to share with you all how I've been getting on because spoiler alert I've really been loving them.
I first got hooked on these lip treatment oils when I went to a little introduction to Hourglass and they popped it on to hydrate my lips whilst I was getting my makeup done and I was pleasantly surprised at how nourished my lips felt without that sticky, tacky feeling. Before I left the Hourglass counter, I had to pick up the clear lip treatment oil because I quickly fell in love with it and I've actually gone back again and picked up the lip treatment oil in Cameo because I've used the clear one so much that I just had to try the tinted version.
No. 28 Lip Treatment Oil
The clear lip treatment oil has honestly been my go-to lip product since I purchased it, I really like that the clear one you can literally throw it on anywhere without even having a mirror. It's designed to help condition your lips, address any dryness or chapped lips and shield against environmental stresses. It's filled with 28 beneficial ingredients for your lips (get it, No.28?!), 14 essential oils, 10 lipid-rich plant oils, and 4 nourishing vitamins.
Since I picked it up, I've been using the clear treatment oil during my morning and evening skincare routine but also through the day and I really loved how it felt thick and my lips felt more nourished but they didn't feel all tacky and gloopy but it just melts into your lips. I suffer from really dry lips no matter what I do or how much water I drink, thankfully because of all the ingredients and regular use, I do feel like the condition of my lips has improved slightly and I do actually notice a difference in how nourished my lips look compared to when I don't use it.
No.28 Tinted Lip Treatment Oil - Cameo
I ended up going back to the Hourglass Counter for a masterclass they invited me to and whilst I was there I ended up having to pick up one of the tinted lip treatment oils in Cameo cause I just fell in love with the neutral rose pink colour. The tinted lip treatment oils have all the same great 28 beneficial ingredients in six different shades. I really love that they give you a really nice flush of colour without the need for lipstick/lipgloss and when I say flush of colour, you get a pretty much opaque colour when you apply it but it's really easy to do anything from a very light flush of colour to get a fully opaque neutral rose colour.
I love that even with the tinted lip oils you can literally throw them on without even needing a mirror. I like to wear the Cameo lip oil as more of a tint than an opaque lip colour so I find that a little bit of it goes a long way. I've honestly got my eyes on the rest of the tinted lip oil range cause I'm obsessed. I love that it gives that glossy look without being tacky and sticking to my hair/smudging everywhere.
