I'm finally back with some content all about haircare because let's face it my hair needs all the help it can get at the moment. I'm finally back to review the Bondi Boost Elixir Hair Oil and then Mermaid Dreams Overnight Haircare Essentials set for you all. If you've been following my Instagram for a little while, you'll know that this year I've been quickly becoming a fan of the Bondi Boost products so it's no surprise that I'm back with a review of their products.
Elixir Hair Oil
The Elixir Hair Oil is designed to be a multi-tasking treatment that you pop on from roots to tips before shampooing which helps to minimise frizz, conditions and nourishes your hair whilst helping it to feel healthy and smooth. It's filled with Jamaican Black castor oil, almond, walnut, and Argan oil. I've been using this Elixir Hair Oil in combination with the Thickening Therapy shampoo and conditioner, I pop it on for 15 minutes and clip my hair up whilst I'm doing things at home before using the shampoo and conditioner, it really does leave my hair feeling super soft and healthy. I also love how shiny my hair looks after using it that lasts for several days. I'm currently using it once a week (I only was it 1-2 times a week with it being dyed) and one of my favourite things about this hair oil is the bottle it comes in as it's a thin small bottle which is perfect for storing as well as taking away on holiday because it can literally fit into the smallest places (perfect if you've got a big beauty products collection like me!). This Elixir Hair Oil is £19.50 for a 100ml bottle and it has a really nice scent that I honestly can't compare to any of the haircare products I've ever tried, it's almost has a slight mint edge to the scent and I generally find it relaxing because of the lavender in the formula.
Mermaid Dreams Overnight Haircare Essentials Set
This Mermaid Dreams Overnight Haircare Essentials set is a great idea for Christmas gifts. It's £23.99 for 4 hair scrunchies, 3 silk feeling ones and 1 oversized microfibre towel one. These silk feeling scrunchies are made from vegan material and are designed to be worn during the day or with your hair in a protective hair style overnight. They all come in a water resistant storage bag which is great for storing or taking travelling. I love how gentle the silk feeling scrunchies are without destroying my hair when I sleep with them in. When I first got the microfibre scrunchie I was a bit unsure about how it was going to work to help speed up drying my hair (I usually use the microfibre hair turban when washing my hair), I gave this a go and I did actually notice that my hair dried faster than normal if I didn't use any microfibre drying tools, I've actually put this microfibre scrunchie in my gym bag ready for when I go swimming.
Whilst writing this blog post for you all, I've realised that Bondi Boost have launched their Christmas range too including their super cute haircare product baubles which I am going to need one of every single one for my Christmas tree.
