New In: Ambigoose Skincare

Danielle Levy, Ambigoose skincare, skincare blogger, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger,
I feel like since the first lockdown I feel like my blog has become very skincare/beauty focused which I've loved cause it's introduced me to some amazing up and coming skincare brand. Over the past month, Instagram has introduced to this amazing new brand Ambigoose who kindly sent me their two latest launches for me to test out and share with you all.

Ambigoose
Ambigoose is an amazing new fun-loving brand who are obsessed with offering a dynamic range of beauty products for people who want the most out of their skincare products. Ambigoose's aim to be straight up with with their customers about the ingredients in their skincare, there's nothing hidden. They also believe in creating products that are made for all humans, not specific a specific sex. All of their products are made by in Belgium, using responsibly sourced domestic and foreign ingredients. Both of their products so far are vegan, organic friendly and fragrance-free.

RESPECT Water Cleanser
I was in need of a new facial cleanser so I was over the moon when this water cleanser arrived on my doorstep and I couldn't wait to start testing it out. The RESPECT Water Cleanser is filled with centella, green tea, chamomile, and aloe vera which helps to soothe and cleanse your skin whilst also preventing your skin from feeling stripped. It is designed to leave your skin feeling plumped up, hydrated, and glowing.

The RESPECT Water Cleanser is gentle enough to be used morning and night. I find that I only need a couple of pumps which lather up enough for me to do my whole face and neck. As someone with dry skin, I really hate that squeaky clean feeling some face washes give you so I was pleased that the RESPECT Water Cleanser didn't do that and just left my face feeling soft and soothed. A tell for me with face washes is whether or not they leave my face looking red or irritated, sometimes even if it doesn't feel irritated, I can be left looking red on my cheeks and forehead. Luckily the RESPECT Water Cleanser didn't leave me red in the slightest, even with me rubbing away at my face. I found that the cleanser had a really subtle citrusy scent which was so nice and refreshing whether I was using it in the morning or evening.

POWERHOUSE Moisturiser
The POWERHOUSE Moisturiser contains niacinamide, peptides, and bakuchiol which help to rehydrate, whilst giving your skin long-lasting moisture and soothing your skin. This moisturiser is designed with even the most sensitive skin in mind so you know that it's not going to sting or irritate your skin. I usually go for thicker moisturisers because my skin is more on the dry side, but I've found that this lightweight one works perfectly for me and I've actually really loved wearing it for work because it's so lightweight, my skin doesn't feel weighed down or clogged up when I'm wearing face masks for hours.

You get a 50ml bottle for only £27 so it's not too badly priced as I only need one pump to do my whole face and neck. The POWERHOUSE Moisturiser is more of a lightweight gel/serum texture rather than a thick cream moisturiser so it literally soaks into your skin super fast and doesn't ball up if you touch your skin throughout the day. I must admit that I'm not a huge fan of the scent of the moisturiser but it sinks in so quickly that within 30 seconds there isn't any scent remaining.

I really love that both the Ambigoose products feature a special pump that prevents any bacteria getting into the pump and back down to the product so it's really taking care of your skin. The pump did take some getting used to cause I initially thought that I had to pop something out in order to use the products but I'm glad that it's got a little stopper cause I know that I'm not putting contaminated products on my face and it also doesn't dry out my products.
