It's been a little while since I got the chance to head into the Gucci Beauty counter in Flannels in Liverpool but recently I got the chance to head in to check out their new Gloss A Levres lipglosses. Recently the gorgeous Phoenix invited me into the counter and talked me through their newest launches and even showed me some new tips and tricks with doing makeup. Phoenix has previously done my makeup when she worked on Dior and she always does such a beautiful job in giving me effortless, light makeup that still looks like me whilst also pushing me outside my comfort zone with makeup.

The new Gucci Beauty Gloss A Levres lipglosses currently come in six different shades, one clear, two pinks, a red, coral and brown shade so for the beginning of a collection into lipglosses, it's got a good range and it means they've been able to focus on the getting the new formula perfect before they expand the shade range.

These new Gucci Beauty glosses are sheer glosses that are designed to give a plumping effect with ginger roots, capsicum extracts and menthol with a crystal-shine whilst also coating your lips in hydration for up to 8 hours with hyaluronic acid. The lip glosses have polymers in the formula which helps to make your lips looking smoother and fuller by blurring lines and folds in your lips. As always Gucci Beauty has such pretty packaging that really do stand out in the beauty industry. Not only has it got the ridged gold lid which is consistent with other products in their makeup line. Something that is a bit different with this launch is that the clear part of the gloss, where you can see the lipgloss shade, it's covered in gold stars which I really like.

Phoenix wanted to show me a couple of shades and we tried to match it to the makeup look that she did which was a beautiful purple look. We ended up putting shade 118 on one side of my mouth and shade 414 on the other side of my mouth and because I loved both shades, we ended up mixing the two shades together to create the look that you can see in the pictures. I wish I'd taken a picture of my lips before cause I was impressed that it gently plumped my lips especially my upper lip without it looks ridiculous or the plumping effect being so harsh that is can border on painful. I'm definitely getting back into glosses and less matte lip products so I'd due to have a sort through my lip products and bin any ones that I've had for a while so I might treat myself to one after I've had a sort out.

Have you tried Gucci Beauty yet?
