Fenty Beauty, Fenty Liverpool, Wirral blogger, Liverpool blogger, beauty, Liverpool life, John Lewis,

I was so excited to find out that the John Lewis beauty hall in Liverpool One has had a refurb which includes a new Fenty Beauty counter and I was so excited to head in and check it out but then I was kindly invited along when Fenty were doing makeup touch ups with a photo booth in a furry taxi cab. I of course had to head along and check it out as well as checking out the new counter and trying some goodies from Fenty Bauty.

I didn't realise how big a brand Fenty actually was. I knew them for their makeup but they also have a skincare range, hair care range, and fragrance range. They are literally going from strength to strength as a brand. I really love that the products Rihanna designs are made to work for a variety of skin tones, hair textures and skin types. There are so many different products for you to try out and I expected the products to be a more luxury price point so I was so surprised how reasonable the prices were for what you get.

The lovely Toni invited me along to the taxi event outside John Lewis but also to come inside to the counter and have a quick Fenty Face makeover and get a little introduction to the brand. The counter is central in the beauty floor and is easiest to access from the 1st floor door that connects to Liverpool One by Starbucks so they're easy to get to. When you get to the counter, there are several different spots that you can get little Fenty Beauty makeovers and everyone at the counter is so lovely and have a ton of beauty tips and tricks to share with you all.

Now I had some skincare on cause yah girl has dry skin so we did a quick cleanse and then I got to try out the Fenty Skin range with the Fat Water Toner and Hydra Vizor SPF and moisturiser. My skin felt so soft and glowing before I'd even put any makeup on. For a base, Toni used the Eaze Drop Stick Skin Tint which I was surprised to see they actually had a light cool neutral shade which was a spot on shade and undertone match for my pale skin which usually it's either too pink or yellow based for my pale milk bottle skin. I was really impressed with the Fenty shade range, depending on the base product, you have between 25 and 53 different shades to choose from and the shades carry over into the different formulas of base products so you don't have to faff around with constant shade matching if you want to swap to a different foundation or concealer.

I was really impressed with how lightweight the products were, yet it was pigmented enough to cover up the rosace and start covering up my under eye bags. Now Toni has been a makeup artist for years and years so she is full of useful makeup tips and tricks including putting cream bronzer on the sides of your hand, rubbing them together to warm the product up then using the sides of your hand to feel for your cheekbones and place your bronzer in the perfect spot for your facial structure. It's me so we of course had to go for a peachy pink cream blush to bring some colour back into my skin.

I have baby blonde brows with the tiniest hint of a slightly darker blonde at the start of my brow so I really like fine tipped eyebrow products so I can sculpt and define my brows without it looking too block-like and it allows me to do hair-like strokes. Now I'm used to have my brows a fair but darker than my natural brows look because usually there isn't light blonde shades but Fenty have got 14 different shades so there's bond to be one to work for you. We ended up doing a more natural, autumnal eye makeup with some brown mascara which worked perfectly with my hazel eyes.

Of course, we had to use the iconic Gloss Bomb in Fuchsia Flex to give me the perfect deep berry colour to finish off the look. I actually loved it that much that I'm going back this week to get the full size to wear throughout autumn and winter. To finish off the look, Toni popped some of the Body Lava in Oyster Pearl which was perfect shade for me cause I am milk bottle pale and this gave my arms the most beautiful shimmer that became more obvious once you step out into the sun light. Toni did an absolutely incredible job with my makeup, she's honestly the nicest human and I got a sample of the Hella Thick mascara from the taxi event outside John Lewis which I've also fallen in love with.
